Volodymyr Yezersky's wards are playing in group 3 against Germany, Finland, and Liechtenstein. The latter is the host of the mini-tournament. Today, Ukraine met Finland at the Blumenau Sportplatz stadium in Trizen.

The first half saw our opponents dominate with five shots on goal, one of which hit the post. Our team responded with only one shot. However, neither side managed to score a goal.

After halftime, Volodymyr Yezersky's wards became more active and opened the scoring in the 67th minute. Nazar Bondar capitalized on a cross from the left flank and scored from distance. However, this joy was short-lived as Matthias Siltanen scored from inside the penalty area three minutes later, equalizing for Finland — 1:1.

Six more minutes passed before Finland took the lead again. Toivo Mero attempted a long-range shot and hit the top corner of our goal — 2:1. Despite this, Ukraine managed to save the match with some help from their opponents. On the 87th minute, Ilari Kangasniemi scored an own goal — 2:2.
