To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 10:00 on October 11, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The one hundred ninety-fifth day of large-scale military aggression by the Russian Federation against Ukraine has begun.

Russian occupiers continue to ignore international humanitarian law, not only shelling Ukrainian positions but also civilian infrastructure in populated areas, terrorizing peaceful residents.

Forces of the Defense of Ukraine continue defensive operations on the east and south of Ukraine, an offensive operation on the Melitopol direction, and offensive actions on the Bakhmut direction, destroying the enemy, step by step liberating temporarily occupied territories, consolidating at achieved lines.

During the past day, 108 combat engagements took place. Additionally, the Russian Federation launched a S-300 air defense missile strike on civilian buildings in the populated area of Great Burluk, Kharkiv Oblast. Moreover, occupiers attacked southern regions of our country with Shahed-136/131 unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), most of which were destroyed by our anti-aircraft defenses. In total, the enemy carried out two missile and 76 air strikes, conducted 83 artillery attacks on positions of our troops and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there are casualties among civilians, including children. Private residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were damaged.

Air raids hit: Bleshnya, Chernihiv Oblast; Bachivsk and Popivka, Sumy Oblast; Basove, Gatishe, Vovchansky Khutori, Synykhivka, Kislivka, Pishcheane, Kharkiv Oblast; Serbianske forest management, Novolubivka, Luhansk Oblast; Spirene, Chasiv Yar, Klitschiivka, Andriyivka, Berdychi, Avdiyivka, Novomykhailivka, Staromayorskoe, Donetsk Oblast; Mala Tokmachka, Novodanilivka, Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

More than 130 populated areas in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia and Kherson regions were under artillery fire.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic grouping of troops «North» on the Volynian and Polesian directions, the operational situation remains unchanged.

On the Northern and Slobozhansky directions the enemy maintains military presence in border areas, conducts active sabotage activities to prevent our troops from redeploying to threatening sectors, increases mine-explosive obstacles along the state border in the Belgorod region.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic grouping of troops «Khortytsia» on the Kupyansk direction, Ukrainian warriors repelled over 30 enemy attacks around the populated areas of Synykhivka and Ivanivka, Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Lyman direction Forces of Defense continue to hold back the enemy's offensive in the areas of Makieivka and Dibrova, Luhansk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut direction our defenders repelled attacks by the enemy around Klitschiivka and Andriyivka, Donetsk Oblast. At the same time, Forces of Defense of Ukraine continue offensive actions south of Bakhmut, Donetsk Oblast, with success in areas east of Klitschiivka and east of Andriyivka.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic grouping of troops «Tavria» on the Avdiivskiy direction, the enemy with forces up to three battalions supported by tanks and armored vehicles intensified offensive actions around Avdiivka, Tonenskoye, Keramika, and Perevomayskye, Donetsk Oblast. Our defenders repelled all attacks and did not allow the loss of lines and positions.

On the Mariupol direction during the past day Forces of Defense successfully repelled over 10 enemy attacks around Mariupol and Krasnogorivka, Donetsk Oblast.

On the Shakhtarsk direction the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions near Zolotoye Niva and Volodino, Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhia direction our defenders are holding back the enemy around populated areas of Inzhenerne and Verbove, Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

Forces of Defense of Ukraine continue offensive operations on the Melitopol direction, improving tactical positions west of Robotino, Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Our warriors inflict losses in manpower and equipment on occupying forces, exhausting the enemy.

In the area of responsibility of the operational-strategic grouping of troops «Odessa» on the Kherson direction, Forces of Defense conduct counter-battery fire, destroying supply depots and successfully targeting the rear of the enemy.

During the past day, aviation of Forces of Defense carried out 11 strikes on areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, and nine — on air defense missile systems of the enemy. Our warriors also destroyed a Russian Su-25 ground attack aircraft and seven tactical reconnaissance UAVs.

Rocket units struck command posts, ammunition depots, three areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment, seven artillery systems, and an electronic warfare station of the enemy.

Overall estimated losses of Russian occupiers during the past day amounted to: 820 casualties, 34 tanks, 91 armored combat vehicles, 18 artillery systems, one multiple rocket launcher system, one air defense weapon, one aircraft, 19 tactical UAVs, 20 vehicles and four units of special equipment.
