Representatives of the National Academy of Land Forces Military Lyceum visited the UAF

Representatives of the military lyceum of the National Academy of Land Forces named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachny, led by the head of the educational institution Ivan Sivous, visited the Football House as part of the celebration of Defender of Ukraine Day.

In the framework of celebrating Defender's Day in Ukraine, representatives from the Military Lyceum of the National Academy of Land Forces named after Hetman Petro Sahaidachnyi, led by the head of the educational institution Ivan Sivous, visited the Football House.

They came to the capital in order to take an official oath as cadets in the presence of President Volodymyr Zelensky on Defender's Day.

During their visit to the Football House, cadets met with the first vice-presidents of the Ukrainian Association of Football (UAF), Oleg Protsasov and Vadim Kostyuchenko. The leaders of UAF communicated with the guests and within the framework of cooperation with the educational institution presented Ivan Sivous a certificate for building a football pitch at the lyceum, which will help future officers in their sports training.

In addition, the cadets received commemorative souvenirs from the national team, football equipment, goal nets, and balls.

The cooperation of the Ukrainian Football Association with educational institutions preparing future officers is systematic. For example, for many years now, UAF has been supporting the Kyiv Military Lyceum named after Ivan Bohun, which is headed by Hero of Ukraine, Major General Igor Gordiyenko.
