The Ukraine national team in Tchebnica, Poland continues to prepare for upcoming Euro 2024 qualification matches against England and Italy. Yesterday morning, under the guidance of Serhiy Rebrov, players were divided into two groups: one focused on defensive actions, while the other worked on attacking plays. In the evening, however, the players concentrated on team dynamics within the tactical models being developed for their next game by the coaching staff.

Goalkeeper Anatoliy Trubin shared details about the training camp's activities.

"I believe my move to 'Benfica' is a step forward. It’s an exit from my comfort zone, as everything there is new. The first week was very difficult because everything was different. I had to adapt, but everyone welcomed me warmly in the team. Everyone helped, and for that, I am grateful. With each day, I feel more confident, and now it's just a matter of starting to play soon. I need to work hard, and I believe my debut will happen soon. I want to play for both the national team and the club. For a footballer, this is the best thing that can be."

Today we had an intense training session. Initially, goalkeepers worked on shots on goal with the entire group, followed by practicing ball distribution from different positions in the goal. A good practice session with situations close to actual game scenarios. These occur frequently during matches.

In addition, there was a large theoretical lesson. We needed to recall and analyze our mistakes, highlight positive moments from previous matches. All of our players have now gathered, so it's the perfect time for this. Overall, we don't have as much time as in clubs. Therefore, we need to work intensively within tight deadlines.

Regarding England—there’s nothing more to say. Everyone knows what players they’ve assembled, so we must be prepared for anything. Especially since we recently played against them in the first match. Everyone remembers how many flank passes the English made. We need to take this into account.

Personally, I can't say who among the English is most dangerous for our goal. Everyone remembers how Saka scored. Everyone knows such a striker as Harry Kane. I mentioned two players, but I believe that every player in England's national team has good shooting skills and unique characteristics only to them. These are top-level players. We need to prepare for danger from each of them and generally from the entire opposing team.

I really hope that Ukrainians living in Wroclaw will support us there. I have a good feeling about playing with supporters and without them. Our fans can give us wings, add strength when sometimes it's lacking," — said Anatoliy Trubin.
