The next qualifying round of the European Championship for youth teams (players born in 2002 and younger), which is led by Spanish coach Unai Melgosa, will begin on September 12 with a home match against Northern Ireland. This game will take place in Slovakia at the National Training Center pitch in Poprad (kickoff at 7:30 PM Kyiv time). Also in Group F, besides these two teams, England, Serbia, Azerbaijan, and Luxembourg will participate.

It is worth noting that as part of their preparation for the Euro-2025 qualification start (U-21), the blue-and-yellow team will play a friendly match against Germany's youth national team. The game will be held on September 8 at the Ludwigsstadion in Saarbrücken (kickoff at 7:15 PM Kyiv time).

The head coach of the blue-and-yellow team, Unai Melgosa, previously named the names of 23 players called up for the September gathering. However, there have been changes in the list — instead of Konstantin Vovcharenko and Oleh Ocheretek, Andriy Buliza and Kiryl Sigeiev were called up to the team.
