The day before Ukraine's Independence Day, a charitable football master class took place on the NTK named after V. Bannikov pitch.

It was organized by the Sport&Business Club with the support of the Ukrainian Football Association and the Ukrainian Premier League. About 200 children aged between 6 and 12 years old from Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, Mykolaiv, Kharkiv, and Zaporizhzhia regions of Ukraine participated in the festive sports event.

To train with the children in various football exercises, former stars of Ukrainian football came to visit — each of them once represented the colors of the national team of Ukraine — Andriy Pyatov, Andriy Shevchenko, Valeriy Krevets and Maxim Malysh.

The organizers divided the football field into six locations, each of which was led by star coaches and their assistants from FC Lokomotiv (Kyiv) and FC Terikon (Donetsk), who also joined the master class.

So, the young football players took penalty kicks against Andriy Pyatov, played passes with Valeriy Krevets, developed team play skills with Andriy Shevchenko and ran in relays under Maxim Malysh's supervision. Alongside the youth from FC Lokomotiv and FC Terikon, the children performed obstacle courses and ball control exercises.

The training ended with a football match to the first goal, in which professionals had to demonstrate their mastery against two hundred future footballers.

All participants of the master class received football gifts and sweets from the organizers and partners of the event, autographs from star coaches, and group photos for memory.

First Vice President of the UAF, Vadim Kostyuchenko thanked the children, their parents and star coaches for participating in the sports event. He also invited internally displaced children who wish to play football to sections that will open this fall. The most talented trainees are planned to be recommended for admission to professional football academies.

Starting from September 1, the UAF invites everyone who wants to play football to sports sections at NTB named after V Bannikov. We will make sure that football training is interesting and exciting, and maybe one day someone of you will step onto a stadium pitch in Ukraine's national team uniform!" — addressed Vadim Kostyuchenko to the participants of the master class.
