At the initiative of head coach of the national team, Serhiy Rebrov, from August 11 to 13 in Uzhhorod, a training seminar for all Ukraine's teams was held.

The meeting was filled with workshops, lectures, and individual seminars aimed at laying a foundation for successful interaction among all specialists and strong positive synergy within the team as a whole. A lot of attention was also paid to the methodological aspect.
"Serhiy Rebrov set the goal of building a unified vertical from junior teams up to the national team. He believes that everyone should work in one format and with the same ideas. Thus, this seminar became the first step in establishing such a structure. Each project is based on relationships between people involved in it. That's why this meeting of coaches and representatives of the UAF was very important and relevant."
"During practical sessions, we talked about Serhiy Rebrov’s vision of football. We explained all his main ideas as well as the necessity of this process. At the same time, we detailed how microcycles are built, training is conducted, relationships with players are established, since a player is at the center of everything and everything is done for him. Each player in junior and youth teams is a future project. It's necessary to prepare and adapt as many executors as possible for transition into the country’s first team. Also important is that such adaptation takes as little time as possible. That's why a unified system of preparation is being built. We tried to fully illuminate these ideas so that all seminar participants could feel them, understand or propose something on their own."
For now, we will continue organizing such seminars and consider that there should be as many of them as possible. At the same time, it's important to always remember that a full-scale war is ongoing in our country, and only thanks to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, all defenders and defenders of Ukraine do we have this opportunity. So we had to use every minute of the seminar productively and effectively to achieve the desired result.
Such seminars are important not only for coaches of junior and youth teams but also generally for the development of Ukrainian football. We want to make the process systematic and as open as possible so that its results can be used by all Ukrainian specialists," — said Oleksandr Kovalenko.

"I consider myself a part of Serhiy Rebrov's project, as the youth team is a unique bridge for players to enter the national team. Currently, my role is to prepare footballers so that they quickly adapt to the national team. In addition, I am a coordinator of interaction between U-17, U-19 and U-21 teams, where similar tasks are set before me — implementing players into more senior teams.
In Uzhhorod, we worked precisely to launch the process initiated by Serhiy Rebrov. We interacted with specialists who have been working in the UAF for a long time. We discussed ideas of play and work with players whom it is necessary to prepare for the national team," — emphasized Unai Melgosa.
It should be noted that representatives of relevant departments of the UAF and representatives of junior teams were present at the seminar, including coaches of the U-18/19 (Oleksandr Kovalenko), U-17/18 (Yuriy Moroz), U-16/17 (Vladimir Yezersky).
