President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about the preparation of the Ukrainian Doctrine, about strengthening the spiritual independence of our state and about a spiritual peace.

"I wish good health to dear Ukrainians,

Today was a long, exhausting day. A day of consultations, discussions, meetings.

We continue preparing the Ukrainian Doctrine — a fundamental text, the foundation for transforming our state. We do not forget our main goal — to win in the war and not lose the country. Ukraine must certainly realize its historic chance for development that was earned by the bravery of all our people.

We are also preparing more defense packages for our soldiers and more protective systems for the entire Ukrainian society, including air defense systems. I had a closed but productive meeting today with representatives of the military leadership of Great Britain.

From today's meetings that can be publicly mentioned... I spoke with Metropolitan Emmanuel from the Ecumenical Patriarchate. We are working at all levels and with all subjects of global relations to implement the Peace Formula, especially bringing back deported children from our land to Ukraine. Thankful to the Ecumenical Patriarchate for their readiness to help.

Of course, as always, we talked about strengthening Ukraine's spiritual independence and achieving a spiritual peace in Ukraine. Our country is one of the historical centers of Christianity. It will remain so. Ukrainians have built a unique format of religious relations in our home: in our country operates the Council of Churches and Religious Organizations which guarantees that all communities are respected, all can bring their message to the state, all can participate in resolving important societal issues. The state will never allow any Ukrainian religious community to be used by an aggressor-state. Ukraine will stand firm, preserve its independence — every aspect of it, including spiritual. And I am grateful to everyone around the world who supports our country and people in this.

But above all, I am thankful to each one fighting for our independence.

Today I want to highlight our soldiers. Those who deserve special gratitude, who show exceptional bravery and give the state exceptional results. Glory to you, soldiers!
