After the second qualifying stage of European club competitions, Ukraine remained in 14th place in UEFA's five-year coefficient ranking for the period 2019/2020–2023/2024, continuing its fight to stay within the top 15 to retain two spots in the Champions League qualifying rounds.

Five domestic clubs started the season-2023/2024, and unfortunately, one of them has already withdrawn from competition — "Vorskla" lost to "Dile" (1:3) and was eliminated from the Conference League.

As a reminder, "Shakhtar" still without playing on the field has four bonus points for its place in the Champions League group stage. "Vorskla" added one point to its coffers after winning against Georgians in the first match and half a point this week due to a draw with "Panathinaikos" (2:2).

Ukraine is currently fighting to stay within the top 15, as it would lose two spots in the Champions League qualifying rounds if it falls out of this ranking. The country's coefficient score is 25.000, trailing Serbia by 2.175 points.

Ukraine faces tough competition from Norway (24.750), Israel (24.125), Denmark (23.950), and the Czech Republic (22.925) for a top 15 spot.
