In the final of Euro-2023 (WU-19), Spain's women's youth national team defeated Germany in a penalty shootout and claimed the title of the strongest team on the continent.

In the final match of the 2023 European Under-19 Championship (WU-19) in Leuven, Belgium, Spain and Germany faced each other. The Spaniards won on penalties. Prior to this, they had defeated the Netherlands in the semifinals (1:0), while the Germans overcame France in extra time (3:2).
It is worth noting that the Spanish team became champions for the fourteenth time in history and for a second consecutive year.
