Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on July 18, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The five hundred and tenth day of Russia's large-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.

During the night of July 18, the enemy used six cruise missiles "Kalibr" and 36 combat drones of the Shahed type for an attack from the southern direction.

The Kalibr launches were likely carried out by the Russian frigate Admiral Essen, while the Shaheds were launched from the Chauda test range in Crimea.

Forces and means of the Air Force destroyed six "Kalibrs," 31 enemy combat drones Shahed, and one reconnaissance UAV.

Cruise missiles "Kalibr" and most of the kamikaze drones were destroyed in the south — in Odesa and Mykolaiv regions. The rest of the attack drones were hit in Donetsk, Kharkiv, and Dnipropetrovsk regions.

Over the past two days, aviation forces carried out around 15 group aerial strikes against Russian occupiers.

During the last day, the enemy delivered five missile attacks with S-300 SAMs, over 40 air raids, and conducted nearly 60 shelling operations using multiple rocket launchers on our troops' positions and populated areas. As a result of Russian terrorist attacks, unfortunately, there were casualties among children and adult civilians, residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure were damaged.

The likelihood of missile and air strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains very high.

The enemy is concentrating its main efforts on the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariinka directions — 36 combat engagements took place during the last day.

On the Volyn and Polissya fronts, the operational situation — no significant changes.

On the Northern and Slobodskiy fronts, the enemy maintains a military presence. Delivered an air strike in the vicinity of Bila Tserkva, Sumy region. Conducted mortar and artillery shelling on more than 30 populated areas, including Chuykivka, Boyaro-Lyachy, Iskriskivshchyna, Pavlivka, Sumy region, and Vovchan, Karaiychne, and Budarki Kharkiv region.

On the Kupyansk direction, our soldiers steadfastly hold the defense. During the day, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions west of Lyman First in Kharkiv region. Delivered air strikes in the areas of Kislivka and Kotlaryvka. Artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy was suffered by Novomlyn, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kupyansk, and Kislivka Kharkiv region.

On the Lyman direction, during the day, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the vicinity of west of Dybrova and east of Veseloye Luhansk region. Delivered air strikes in the areas of Bihorivka Luhansk region and Terny and Spirne — Donetsk. Artillery shelling was suffered by populated places Nevske and Bihorivka Luhansk region, and Toriske, Verkhnyokamyanske, Spirne, Berestove, and Rozdolyvka on Donets.

On the Bakhmut direction, under heavy air and artillery fire from the enemy, our defenders successfully repelled attacks by occupiers in the areas of Minkivka, southeast of Orilovo-Vasylivka, southeast of Bogdanovka, and near Ivanivske Donetsk region. The enemy delivered air strikes in the areas of Bogdanovka and Oleksandr-Shultyno. Over 15 populated places suffered from enemy artillery shelling, among them — Kramatorsk, Kostenko, Chasiv Yar, Pleshcheyevo, Oleksandr-Shultyne, Pivnichne, and Katerynovka Donetsk region.

On the Avdiivka direction, under enemy air fire, our defenders repelled all attacks in the vicinity of the city of Avdiivka Donetsk region. At the same time, the enemy carried out artillery shelling on more than 15 populated places, including Novoandriyivka, Novobakhmutivka, Keramik, Avdiivka, Nevelske, and Karlivka Donetsk region.

On the Mariinka direction, defensive forces successfully continue to hold back Russian troops' advance in the areas of Mariinka city and near Krasnyhorodka. The enemy carried out shelling on more than 10 populated places, including Krasnyhorodka, Mariinka, Gostre, Veseloye Hray, and Novomikhaylivka Donetsk region.

On the Shakhtarsk direction, the enemy delivered air strikes in the areas of Makarivka, Blagodatnoye, Novodaryvka, and Komar Donetsk region. Carried out shelling on populated places Blagodatne, Vugledar, Prechistivka, Nesukhne, Novodaryvka, and Rivnopil on Donets.

On the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson fronts, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts to prevent further advance of our troops. Delivered an air strike in the vicinity of Orilovo Zaporizhzhya region. Carried out artillery shelling on more than 30 populated places, including Vilene Pole, Veremivka Donetsk region; Zaliznychno, Verkhnya Tersa, Hulyaypole, Preobrazhenka, and Bihor'ya Zaporizhzhya region; Mikhailivka, Novoberezlav, Mikilske, Inzhenerne, Kizomys Kherson region, and the city of Kherson. Also suffered Okha Mykolaiv region.

At the same time, Ukrainian defensive forces continue to conduct offensive operations on Melitopol and Berdiansk fronts, consolidate at achieved lines, carry out counter-battery measures.

In the city of Nova Kakhovka Kherson region, Russian occupiers mercilessly massively evacuate all local residents living along the Dnipro riverbank from their homes with children to the street. Settled displaced civilians occupy military subunits of invaders. Previously in Novaya Kakhovka and Kakhovka, Russian occupiers disconnected mobile communication and landline internet connection. In this way, they are trying to prevent the recording and publication of crimes committed by Russian troops.

Aviation of defensive forces over the past day delivered 11 strikes on areas of concentration of personnel, weapons, and military equipment. Also, our defenders destroyed three combat UAVs of the enemy type "Shahed-136" and six reconnaissance UAVs at the operational-tactical level.

Subunits of rocket troops and artillery over the past day hit areas of concentration of live forces of the enemy, two heavy flame thrower systems TOS-1A "Soltsemeyok," 27 artillery means on firing positions, ammunition depot, and an REB station of occupiers.

Overall during the last day, our soldiers liquidated 710 Russian occupiers. The enemy lost four tanks, 17 armored combat vehicles, 38 artillery systems, four MLRS, eleven UAVs at the operational-tactical level, and 27 automobiles.
