Euro 2023 (U-21). Ukraine's youth national team in the final tournament: all matches, squad potential
In July 2023, the Ukraine national youth team became a medalist at the European Championship for the second time in history (after silver at Euro-2006 (U-21)) and for the first time in history qualified to play in the football tournament of the Olympic Games.

In early July 2023, Ukraine's youth team became a medalist at the European Championship for the second time in history (after silver at Euro-2006 (U-21)) and for the first time qualified to play in the football tournament of the Olympic Games.
It will take place from July 24 to August 9, 2024, at stadiums across France (Bordeaux, Lyon, Marseille, Nantes, Nice, Paris, Saint-Étienne), with half of the participants already known (eight out of sixteen). In addition to Ukraine, men's football teams from the Dominican Republic, Egypt, Israel, Spain, Morocco, the United States, and France will also compete.
The third African participant is expected to be announced soon, in September — a single team from Oceania, and next spring — three representatives from Asia. Plus, there are two qualifiers yet to be determined for South America, as well as a playoff between African and Asian teams.
The only caveat: the base year of birth for players eligible for Euro-2023 (U-21) is 2000, while for the Olympics it's 2001. This means that some players who were part of Ukraine’s team at Euro-2023 will be too old to compete in Paris.
The coach, Ruslan Rotan, will continue to lead the team into the Olympic qualifiers and beyond.
