After yesterday's overtime victory over Spain (4:3), today the team coached by Mykola Kostenko and Oleksandr Korniychuk played their second match in Group B of the European qualification for the 2024 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup against Poland.

The first period was dominated by Ukraine thanks to Igor Levchenko's header. In the second period, our team responded to a goal from Losh with Andriy Borosuk's shot. However, at the 23rd minute, an unpleasant incident occurred—our goalkeeper Andriy Nerus received a red card and left the field.

At the beginning of the third period, Poland capitalized on their numerical advantage, but just two minutes before the end of regular time, Oleg Zborovskiy scored with a bicycle kick to secure our team's victory—3:2.

After Spain's defeat against Lithuania today (7:2), Ukraine secured its place in the quarter-finals ahead of schedule.
