Yesterday, the wards of Mykola Kostenko and Oleksandr Korniychuk departed for the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku, where they will participate in the European qualification tournament for the 2024 World Championship. The qualifying tournament will take place from July 5 to 9.

The head coach of Ukraine's national team, Mykola Kostenko, spoke about the tasks that lie ahead for blue-and-yellow: "Of course, our goal is one and the same — to qualify among the top four teams that will participate in the World Cup. We have serious rivals in our group, but we will do everything possible to come out of our quartet first, and then successfully play in the knockout stage where a team from Group A awaits us."

It should be noted that after an unsuccessful performance at the European Games, I won't make predictions, but we will prepare. All boys are in good functional form and want to play their best in Baku.

The coaching staff of blue-and-yellow has called up 12 players for this tournament.
