Artem Bondarenko: "The quarter-finals are like a completely different tournament, a knockout game with more psychological pressure"

Ruslan Rotan's wards played their third group stage match of the 2023 UEFA European Under-21 Championship on Tuesday, drawing with Spain (2:2). The blue and yellow team secured second place in the group and advanced to the quarter-finals. Midfielder of Ukraine's youth national team Artem Bondarenko shared his thoughts on this:
«Ruslan Rotan first congratulated us for advancing from the group stage. His main message was that we are capable of playing good football with a great result. The draw against Spain's national team gives us such confidence, we could have even won. This is a good reflection of our work.
Now we will rest a bit and recharge. The quarter-finals are like an entirely different tournament, a knockout stage, with more psychological pressure. I think it will be harder».
The quarter-final match between France and Ukraine will take place on Sunday, July 2nd, at the «Cluj Arena» in Cluj-Napoca (kick-off at 10 PM Kyiv time).
