Note to attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on June 28, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion into our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The four hundred and ninety day mark has been reached since the large-scale military aggression by the Russian Federation against our state began.

Forces of the Ukrainian Defense are continuing to conduct offensive operations on the Melitopol, Berdyansk, and Bakhmut axes.

Ukrainian warriors are consolidating on the achieved lines, delivering artillery fire strikes against identified enemy targets, conducting counter-battery measures. Russian occupation forces are putting up strong resistance. At the same time, the enemy is suffering significant losses in manpower, weapons, and equipment.

At the same time, our troops are conducting offensive actions on the Bakhmut axis, in the areas of Rodylivka village, north of Siversk, south of Paraskivivka, in the areas of Zaliznyanskyi, Berkhivka, Klyschyivka, and Kurdyumivka. They have achieved success, are consolidating on the achieved lines. Heavy fighting is ongoing.

The Russian Federation continues to ignore laws and customs of war, using terror tactics, delivering strikes, conducting shelling both at military and civilian objects.

During the night of June 28, our Defense Forces' tactical groups destroyed six Shahed loitering munitions. The enemy attacked from a southeast direction.

Over the past day, Russian aggressors also delivered strikes against Ukrainian territory. For this purpose, they used five air-launched cruise missiles Kh-22 and two anti-aircraft guided missiles from S-300 systems. In addition, the enemy carried out 24 aviation strikes and conducted 42 shelling with multiple rocket launchers. The Kh-22 missiles were aimed at a dacha cooperative in Kremenetskyi district of Poltava region and Zaporizhzhia. With S-300 missiles, Russian terrorists hit a restaurant filled with civilians in the center of Kramatorsk city and a private sector area in Bilenke village of Donetsk region. As a result of the Russian terrorist attack, unfortunately, there are children and adults among the dead, over 50 civilians were injured, multi-apartment buildings and dozens of private residential houses were damaged.

The probability of missile and aviation strikes on all territory of Ukraine remains very high.

The enemy continues to concentrate its main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, and Mariupol axes, heavy fighting is ongoing. Over 30 combat encounters took place during the day.

On the Volyn and Polissya axes, the operational situation — no significant changes.

On the Northern and Slobozhanskyi axes, the enemy carried out mortar and artillery shelling of over 20 populated areas, including Zarychche and Timonovychi in Chernihiv region; Seredina-Buda, Porokhon, Fotovizh, Velyka Pysarivka in Sumy region, as well as Udi, Kozacha Lopan', and Krasne Pereche in Kharkiv region.

On the Kupyansk axis, artillery and mortar shelling was also suffered by over 20 populated areas, including Masutivka, Kislivka, Kotlyarivka, and Berestove in Kharkiv region.

On the Lyman axis, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions towards Bakhmut. Artillery shelling was suffered by over 15 populated areas. Among them — Novosel'ske, Dibrova, Bakhmut in Luhansk region and Yamolivka, Torske, Seredyns'ke, and Spirene on Donetsk territory.

On the Bakhmut axis, the enemy conducted offensive actions around Orilhovo-Vasilivka, without success. Areas of over 15 populated areas suffered from enemy artillery shelling. Among those hit — Nikiforivka, Vasyukivka, Rodylivka, Marove, Khromove, Chasiv Yar, Ivanivske, Ozaryanivka and Pivdenne in Donetsk region.

On the Avdiyivka axis, the enemy delivered aviation strikes around Avdiivka. Conducted artillery shelling of areas near over 20 populated areas. This includes Keramik, Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Yasnobrodivka, Pervomaiske and Nevel'ske in Donetsk region.

On the Mariupol axis, the enemy carried out offensive actions around Mariupol and Victory. Delivered aviation strikes near Mariupol and Krasnogorivka. At the same time, conducted artillery shelling of over 10 populated areas, including Mariupol, Illin'ky and Victory in Donetsk region.

On the Shakhtarsk axis, the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions towards Rivnopil village. Delivered aviation strikes around Storozhove in Donetsk region. Conducted shelling of over 15 populated areas. This includes Katerinivka, Yelizavetivka, Bogoyavlennya, Blahodatne, Vuhledar, Prechystivka and Zolota Niva on Donetsk territory.

On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson axes, the enemy is concentrating its main efforts to prevent our troops from advancing. The enemy delivered aviation strikes around Orilhovo and Novodanylivka in Zaporizhzhia region. Conducted artillery shelling of over 50 populated areas. Among those hit — Novodarivka, Olgivske, Poltavka, Malynivka, Charivne, Mala Tokmachka, Preobrazhenka, Orilh and Pavlivka in Zaporizhzhia region; Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk region; Zolota Balka, Dudchani, Kachkaryvka, Vesel'e, Antonivka, Kherson, Bilozerska, Dniprovske, Kizomys and Ochakiv on Kherson territory.

In the populated area of Horodnytavka in Kherson region, occupiers are taking housing from local residents who have left for Ukrainian-controlled territories or died as a result of combat actions. The seized property is marked with signs «Property of the Russian Federation».

The aviation of the Defense Forces delivered 18 strikes against areas of enemy manpower concentration and six — against enemy anti-aircraft missile systems over the past day. Also, our defenders destroyed six reconnaissance drones.

Subunits of rocket troops and artillery during the past day inflicted damage on one command post, two S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems and four areas of enemy manpower concentration, weapons and military equipment.

Overall, over the past day our warriors liquidated 930 Russian occupiers. The enemy also lost 13 combat armored vehicles, six artillery systems, one MLRS, one air defense system, seven tactical-level reconnaissance drones and two vehicles.
