The UEFA has announced the decision regarding the disqualification of Ukraine's youth team striker Vladyslav Vana, who was sent off in the 90+2 minute of the match against Romania in the second group stage round of Euro.

According to the disciplinary committee's ruling, our footballer will miss two matches — against Spain in the third group stage round and the quarterfinals.

We remind you that today, June 27, Ukraine's youth team plays their third match at Euro-2023 (U-21). At 9:45 PM Kyiv time, the game against Spain will start at the «Rapid-Gulesti» stadium in Bucharest.

The match against the Pyreneans will be played by our team as quarterfinalists since they have already earned six points, defeating teams from Croatia (2:0) and Romania (1:0). It remains to determine which position the Ukrainians will take in the knockout stage. This will be decided based on the outcome of the match against Spain. To finish first in their group, considering the better goal difference compared to competitors, we need only a win. We add that representatives of our Group B advance to the quarterfinals against some of the strongest teams from Group D (France, Italy, Switzerland, Norway) and will play their first knockout stage matches on July 1-2.
