The post-match day for the blue-and-yellow team traditionally began with two groups. Players who started the match against North Macedonia, as well as Vanat and Konoplya, who entered the game after halftime, worked out in the gym from 11 a.m., while the rest of the players trained on the grass field at FK «Macedonia».

Training on the field started with two laps of running, followed by passing drills in squares. The main goal of this training session was to maintain the game readiness of players who have not yet participated in June matches or have played little time on the pitch. The bulk of the practice involved playing series with tactical tasks.

Meanwhile, in the fitness center of Aleksandar Palace Hotel, 13 players completed a set of exercises for muscle recovery, followed by weight training with dumbbells and barbells under the watchful eye of the physical trainer Javier Luruenyi Lobos. The footballers performed strength work with obvious enjoyment and knowledge: functional development of specific muscle groups is now an integral part of player preparation.

After lunch, the national team headed to the airport from where they flew to Bratislava. From the capital of Slovakia, the blue-and-yellow team will travel another 50 km to Trnava, where they are staying at the Holliday Inn.
