To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on June 11, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The four hundred and seventieth day of Russia's large-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.

The Russian Federation continues its occupation war, disregarding losses. To achieve its goals, it employs a strategy of terror.

During the past day, Russian occupiers launched another missile and aviation strike on Ukraine, using eight missiles, including four ground-based cruise missiles "Iskander," and 35 Iranian Shahed attack drones against military targets and critical infrastructure.

Anti-aircraft defense forces destroyed two cruise missiles and twenty Shahed attack drones.

In addition, the enemy carried out ninety-two aviation strikes and forty-five artillery attacks with multiple rocket launchers on our positions and populated areas. Unfortunately, there are casualties among civilians, private homes have been destroyed or damaged.

The likelihood of missile and aviation strikes across Ukraine remains very high.

The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on attempts at full occupation of the Luhansk and Donetsk regions; fierce battles are ongoing. During the past day, thirty-five combat engagements took place in the specified sector of the front.

On the Volynian and Polesian Directions the operational situation — no significant changes.

On the Northern and Slobozhansky Directions the enemy carried out mortar and artillery shelling of populated areas in Senkivka, Chernihiv region; Novovasylivka, Seredina-Buda, Chuykivka, Harkivka, Sosnovka, Vovkivka, Stepok, Velyka Pysaryvka, Popivka, Dmitrivka in Sumy region, as well as Udi, Staritsya, Vovchansky, Budaraky, Nesterne and Mala Vovcha in Kharkiv region.

On the Kupiansk Direction the enemy carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Kislivka and Kotlyaryvka in Kharkiv region. Artillery and mortar shelling was suffered by Petro-Ivanivka, Novomlynivsk, Zakhidne, Masutyvka, Kislivka, Tabayivka in Kharkiv region and Novoselyvske in Luhansk region.

On the Lyman Direction during the past day the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions near Bihorivka. Carried out aviation strikes on populated areas of Nevsko, Yamopolivka, Zarychne, Lyman, Spirene, Veselo, Rozdolyvka and Ray-Oleksandrivka in Donetsk region. Artillery shelling was suffered by Nevsko and Bihorivka in Luhansk region as well as Yamopolivka, Torsske, Verkhnyokamyanske, Spirene and Rozdolyvka on Donetschyna.

On the Bakhmut Direction the enemy carried out offensive actions towards White Hill, without success. Carried out aviation strikes in the areas of populated places of White Hill, Dilievka, Toretsk and New York in Donetsk region. Areas of populated places of Vasyukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Ivanivske, White Hill, Druzhba, Toretsk, Zalizne and Pivnichne suffered from enemy artillery shelling.

On the Avdiyivsky Direction the enemy did not conduct offensive actions. Carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Avdiyivka and Nevelskiy. Conducted artillery shelling of populated places of Avdiyivka, Vodyane, Perevomayske and Karlivka in Donetsk region.

On the Mariupol Direction our defenders repelled all enemy attacks near the city of Mariinka. The enemy carried out an aviation strike near Krasnogorivka. At the same time, the enemy conducted artillery shelling in the areas of Gostroho, Maximilianske, Mariinka, Pobedy and Novomikhaylivka in Donetsk region.

On the Shakhtarsk Direction the enemy carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Prechystivka, Zolotoy Niva and Velyka Novosylka as well as shelled with artillery Vuhledar in Donetsk region.

On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson Directions the enemy is defending. Carried out aviation strikes in the areas of Novopavlivka, Hulyaypole and Orikhiv in Zaporizhzhia region. Conducted artillery shelling over more than twenty populated places. Among them — Vremyvka, Novosylka and Novopol Dnepropetrovsk region; Olhyvske, Malynivka, Hulyaypole, Zaliznychne, Bilyhorod, Stebne and Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia region; Zolota Balka, Sadove and the city of Kherson.

Due to the lack of legal norms regarding final terms for military service through mobilization in the Russian army, a lack of significant achievements on the battlefield, and the spread of panic moods about future prospects among Russian conscripts, cases of non-compliance with orders, sabotage, unauthorized contacts, as well as desertion have become more frequent. To address these issues, the Chief of General Staff of the RF Armed Forces has taken a decision to order commanders of units and military units to identify such individuals and dispatch them to storm battalions for further use in so-called "meat storms."

The Air Force of the Defense Forces carried out sixteen strikes against areas of concentration of personnel and two — against enemy air defense missile complexes during the past day.

Our defenders also destroyed four enemy reconnaissance drones of various types.

Subunits of rocket troops and artillery inflicted damage on two command points, five areas of concentration of live forces, weapons and military equipment, one artillery subunit in a firing position as well as another four important targets of the enemy during the day.

Overall, Ukrainian warriors liquidated 980 Russian occupiers. In addition, the enemy lost seventeen tanks, twenty-four combat armored vehicles, nineteen artillery systems, one MLRS, thirty-seven operational-tactical level drones, seven missiles, thirty-three cars and two units of special equipment.
