According to the season summary for 2022/2023, "Rukh" became the fourth champion of Ukraine's U-19 league — after "Dynamo," "Metalist," and "Shakhtar."

Physically, Lvivians were first in the standings last season as well, but only after 18 rounds. The official season was prematurely concluded due to Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine. No winners were announced or confirmed; only participants for European competitions were determined. And it was "Rukh" that secured the right to represent Ukraine in the UEFA Youth League 2022/2023, where they reached the round of 16, defeating Polish "Zaglebie," Turkish "Galatasaray," and Italian "Inter."

In the season-2023/2024, the team led by Mykhailo Dyachok-Stavitsky, who replaced Vitaliy Ponomaryov as head coach of Rukh U-19 after he took over the first team club, will again play in the UEFA Youth League. But this time as the official champion of Ukraine.

Almost until the very end, Dynamo's players and coaches tried to challenge Rukh. However, Lvivians, who scored 21 penalties over the season (converted 18), did not lose a single match. In spring, they allowed only two draws — against "Dynamo" (0:0) and "Metalist" (2:2). Incidentally, Metalist improved its standing compared to the last review from 12th place to 10th.

Rukh in the nine final rounds (plus makeup games) scored 28 out of a possible 30 points and secured their championship title only two rounds before the end. After which Dynamo conceded in the last game day against Metalist 1925, increasing the gap between them to eight points. But prior to this loss, Igor Kostyuk's wards won eight matches out of eight.

Among these — against Shakhtar (3:2), who after winter loaned their main players, including Vladyslav Pogorelyi (who remained at the top of the league's scoring chart), Andriy Buliza, Kyrylo Sygiiiev, and Roman Savchenko. The team under Oscar Rautulutti struggled to find a replacement for their center forward. Apart from the mentioned loss against Dynamo, they also drew with Kolos (1:1) and Zorya (1:1). But this gave young players aged 16-17 an opportunity to prove themselves.

In the final nine rounds (plus makeup games), apart from Rukh (28 points), Dynamo (24 points), and Shakhtar (20 points), Oleksandria (17 points), Metalist (15 points), Dnipro-1, and Veres (both 14 points) made it to the top seven in terms of accumulated points.

The team from Rivne this year pleasantly surprised. In autumn, Veres U-19 scored only seven points (fifteenth place), but in spring — 27 (fifth).
