The U-16 Ukrainian national team concluded their performance at the UEFA Development Tournament in Slovakia with a victory
The Ukrainian U-16 national team (players born in 2007 or later) played their final match at the UEFA Development Tournament in Slovakia.

The wards of Volodymyr Yezersky started their competition with a penalty shootout loss to the tournament hosts, after which they lost to the Irish team (1:3). Now our boys were on the field at "MOL Arena" in Dunajska Streda against the Latvians.
The blue-and-yellow team won 4-0 thanks to goals from Danylo Pilypchuk, Ivan Likholyt, Artem Stepanov, and Oleksandr Soroka. In the end, Ukrainian juniors secured second place in the tournament.

We remind you that this Ukrainian team is preparing for the Euro 2024 (U-17) qualification round. From October 15 to 21, blue-and-yellow will face teams from Germany, Finland and Liechtenstein (home team).

We remind you that Cyprus received a direct entry to the final stage as hosts, while the Netherlands team will start from the elite round of qualification.
