To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on May 10, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The four hundred and forty-first day of Russia's large-scale military aggression against Ukraine has begun.

During the past day, the enemy carried out 23 missile strikes and 43 air raids, conducted 97 artillery attacks using multiple rocket launchers. For missile strikes, the enemy used various types of missiles; most were destroyed by our defenders, but unfortunately, there have been hits as well, including five S-300 missiles — on the cities of Kupyansk, Sloviansk, Kramatorsk and Konstantinivka.

The likelihood of further missile and air strikes across all of Ukraine remains high, as the enemy continues to employ a tactic of terror.

The enemy is concentrating its main efforts on the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariupol axes — carrying out 46 attacks. The fiercest battles are ongoing for the cities of Bakhmut and Mariupol.

On the Volyn and Polesie fronts — no significant changes.

On the Northern and Slobidska fronts the enemy shelled populated areas of Hasychivka, Zaliznyy Most, Myravy Chernihiv Oblast; Tovstodubove, Bachivske, Starye Vyrky, Iskriskyshcha, Volhynne, Yunakivka, Mogrytsia, Popivka and Slavgorod Sumy Oblast as well as Hoptivka, Varvarivka, Bugruvatka, Ogireve, Gatsiche, Plytenivka, Tykhie, Mala Vovcha, Budarki, Zemlyanki, Vilhuvatka, Dvorichanske and Khatne in the Kharkiv region.

On the Kupyansk front the enemy attempted to improve its tactical position, carried out offensive actions near populated areas of Masutivka and Stelemahyvka but was unsuccessful. Artillery and mortar shelling affected Kamianka, Kolodyazhne, Krasnoe Pervoe, Figolivka, Novomlynivske, Dvorichna, Kindrashivka, Liman First, Tabayivka Kharkiv Oblast as well as Stelemahyvka in the Luhansk region.

On the Lyman front the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions around Bilohorivka. Artillery shelling affected Makieyivka, Bilohorivka and Veseloye in Luhansk Oblast as well as Yamopolivka and Spirene — Donetsk.

On the Bakhmut front the enemy continues to conduct offensive operations. During the past day, it carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the city of Bakhmut, as well as towards populated areas of Ivanivske and Stupochki. The villages of Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Bogdanivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Stupochki, Zalizne and New York in Donetsk Oblast were affected by enemy shelling.

On the Avdiivka front the enemy did not conduct offensive operations. Carried out an air strike near Avdiivka. Shelled populated areas of Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Perevomayske, Netaylove and Karlivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Mariupol front units of the Defense Forces repelled numerous attacks by enemy forces around the city of Mariupol. At the same time, enemy shelling affected, among others, Georgiyivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Shakhtarsk front during the past day the enemy did not conduct offensive operations. Carried out an air strike near Velyka Novosilka. Shelled populated areas of Novomikhaylivka, Vodyane, Ugledar, Prechystivka and Velyka Novosilka.

On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson fronts the enemy is defending. Carried out air strikes on Orikhov, Kizomys and Stanislav. Shelled populated areas of Vremivka and Novopil in Donetsk Oblast; Olhyvskoye, Poltavka, Maliyinivka, Hulyaypole, Charivne, Mala Tokmachka, Orikhiv, Novodanylivka, Novoandriyivka, Stebnoe, Kamianske and Plyvni in Zaporizhzhia as well as Antonivka, Molodyzhne and Zelenivka in Kherson Oblast.

In Enerhodar, Russian occupiers organized so-called «evacuation» for members of the families of employees of the Zaporizhzhia NPP. At the same time, access to the city was denied to station staff.

The occupation so-called authorities announced evacuation of people to Berdyansk and Kirilyvka on vacation bases and in hotels. However, those who agreed were taken to Rostov Oblast and accommodated in tent settlements.

A somewhat different situation developed in Velika Bilozersk. Last week most collaborators left the populated area on their own transport towards Crimea.

The Air Force of the Defense Forces carried out eight strikes against areas of enemy personnel and military equipment concentration as well as two strikes against enemy air defense missile systems during the past day.

During the past day, our defenders shot down six enemy drones of various types, three of them — Shahed type.

Units of rocket forces and artillery inflicted damage on command posts, four areas of enemy personnel concentration, two artillery units in firing positions as well as a radio-electronic warfare station of the enemy.
