Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on April 27, 2023, regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The four hundred twenty-eighth day of the large-scale military aggression by the Russian Federation against our country has begun.

The Russian Federation, despite significant losses, does not abandon its plans for occupying our territory. It is delivering strikes and shelling both military and civilian objects.

Yesterday, the enemy delivered seven missile and 39 air strikes, carried out 61 attacks with multiple rocket launchers on positions of our troops and critical infrastructure in populated areas.

The likelihood of further missile and air strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

Main efforts of the enemy are focused on conducting offensive actions on the Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariupol axes. Units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 54 attacks by the enemy in these sectors over the past day. The most intense fighting continues for Bakhmut and Mariupol.

On the Volyn and Polesie axes, the operational situation has not changed significantly. Signs of forming offensive groupings have not been detected.

On the Northern and Slobozhanskyi axes the enemy shelled populated areas in Zarychye, Blesnya, Karpovichy, Medvedivka, Yanjulivka, Hlaganyvka, Leonivka, Buda-Vorobyivska, Gremiach Chernihiv Oblast; Znoba-Trubchevska, Chernaitske, Seredyna-Buda, Bachivskyi, Sidorovka, Korneyok, Khodine, Shpil and Mykolaivka Sumy Oblast; as well as Hury-Kozatskyi, Glybokoye, Oliynikove and Zelenoe in the Kharkiv region.

On the Kupyansk axis, the enemy continues to carry out fortification measures on certain sectors. Artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy affected populated areas of Kamianka, Krasne Pervye, Novomlynivske, Liman Pervyi, Kyslivka, Berestove in Kharkiv Oblast; as well as Novoselivske — Luhansk.

On the Lyman axis, the enemy did not conduct offensive actions. Artillery shelling affected Terny, Toriske, Dibrova, Bilyhorivka, Verkhnyokamianske and Spirene in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut axis, the enemy continues to conduct offensive actions. Intense fighting is ongoing for the city of Bakhmut. The enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive operations towards populated areas of Orilhovo-Vasylivka and Ivanivske. From enemy shelling, Vasukivka, Zaliznyanske, Orilhovo-Vasylivka, Novomarokove, Hryhorivka, Bakhmut, Chasyiv Yar, Ivanivske, Predtechine, Kostyantynivka, Dilievka, Pivnichne, Pivdenne and New York in Donetsk Oblast suffered.

On the Avdiivka axis, the enemy conducted offensive actions around Avdiivka, Severnyi and Pereyaslavskyi in Donetsk Oblast. It carried out shelling of populated areas Novokalynove, Berdychi, Lastochkine, Avdiivka, Vodyane, Pereyaslavskiy, Karlivka and Nevelske in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Mariupol axis, over the past day our defenders repelled attacks by the enemy around the populated area of Mariupol. Enemy shelling affected Krasnogorivka, Georgiyivka, Mariupol, Paraskevivka and Novomikhaylivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Shakhtarsk axis, over the past day the enemy did not conduct offensive actions. It carried out shelling of populated areas Bogoyavlenska, Novoukrainska, Shakhtyrske, Prechystivka and Vuhledar in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson axes, the enemy is on defense. At the same time, it carried out shelling of over 30 populated areas. Among them — Vremivka, Novopil in Donetsk Oblast; Hulyaypole, Zaliznytsne, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriyivka and Kamianske in Zaporizhzhia Oblast; Berislav, Kozatske, Tokaryvka, Antonivka, Bilyzherka, Beregovoye Kherson Oblast as well as the city of Kherson.

The aviation of the Ukrainian Defense Forces delivered 11 strikes against areas where occupiers are concentrated over the past day. Also, six enemy unmanned aerial vehicles were destroyed. And units of rocket forces and artillery inflicted damage on two air defense systems and another two important military objects of the enemy.
