Glory to Ukraine! The four hundred and twenty-seventh day of the large-scale military aggression by the Russian Federation against our country has begun.
The Russian Federation continues to wage an aggressive war. Despite significant losses, it does not abandon its plans for the occupation of our territory. It carries out strikes on both military and civilian objects.
Over the past day, the enemy carried out three missile attacks, two of which were with S-300 missiles targeting the center of the peaceful city of Kupiansk in Kharkiv Oblast. There are fatalities and injuries among civilians; a building of the local history museum was destroyed, and there is no military object nearby. Other civilian infrastructure has also been damaged. Additionally, the enemy carried out 13 air strikes and conducted 49 artillery attacks with multiple rocket launchers on our positions and critical infrastructure in populated areas.
The likelihood of missile and aerial strikes across Ukraine remains high.
Main efforts of the enemy are concentrated on conducting offensive operations on the Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariinka axes. Units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 39 attacks by the enemy over these sectors of the front during the past day. The fiercest battles continue for Bakhmut and Mariinka.
On the Volyn and Polesie fronts, the operational situation — no significant changes. Signs of forming offensive groupings have not been detected.
On the Northern and Slobozhanskyi fronts, the enemy maintains a military presence in border areas with Ukraine in Bryansk, Kursk, and Belgorod regions. Over the day, it carried out artillery and mortar shelling of populated areas in Leonivka, Chernihiv Oblast; Seredina-Buda, Korneiok, Stukalivka, Iskriskyshchyna, Novoiavaniivka, Volfine, Pavlivka, Kostiantynivka, and Basivka Sumy Oblast; as well as Udi, Veterinarnoe, Zeleno, Neskuchnoe, Strelcha, Ogireve, Gatishe, and Ambarskoye in Kharkiv region.
On the Kupianskyi front, artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy was experienced by Topoli, Kamianka, Krasne Pereche, Figolivka, Novomlynskyi, Dvorichna, Liman Pereche, Kupiansk, and Kislivka in Kharkiv Oblast.
On the Lyman front, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations. Artillery shelling was experienced by Novoselivske, Nevsko, Dibrova, Bilohorivka in Luhansk Oblast and Torske, Yampeil, Severne, Verkhnyokamianske, Spirene, and Pereyezne in Donetsk Oblast.
On the Bakhmut front, the enemy continues to conduct offensive operations. Fierce battles are ongoing for the city of Bakhmut. Additionally, during the day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive actions towards populated areas of Bogdanivka, Khromove, and Klyschyivka. Areas affected by enemy shelling include Vasukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Markove, Hryhorivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Bila Hora, Pivnichne, and New York in Donetsk Oblast.
On the Avdiivka front, the enemy conducted offensive operations near populated areas of Severne and Pereymaysk in Donetsk Oblast but was unsuccessful. It carried out shelling of populated areas located near the line of contact, including Novobakhmutivka, Novokalinove, Avdiivka, Lastochkine, Stepevoe, Tonennye, Vodyane, Netaylove, Pereymaysk, Karlivka, and Nevelske in Donetsk Oblast.
On the Mariinka front, during the past day our defenders repelled numerous attacks by the enemy in the area of the populated point Mariinka. Enemy shelling was experienced by Georgiyivka, Mariinka, Pobeda, Novomikhaylivka, and Paraskevivka in Donetsk Oblast.
On the Shakhtarsk front, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations. It carried out shelling of populated areas including Vuhledar, Yegorivka, Pavlivka, Prechystyvka, Novoukrayinka, Zolota Niva, Novomaiorske, Shakhtarsk, Neskhuchne, and Velika Novosilka in Donetsk Oblast.
On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson fronts, the enemy continues to conduct defensive operations. At the same time, over the day it carried out shelling of more than 40 populated areas. Among them — Malinivka, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriyivka, Mali Shcherbaki, Plevni in Zaporizhzhia Oblast and Kozatske, Otradokamianska, Olhivka, Lvove, Kizomys, as well as the city of Kherson. As a result of two guided aerial bombs hitting the populated point Kizomys, over 10 civilian residential buildings were damaged, two — completely destroyed. The local church and other civilian infrastructure also suffered destruction.
The Air Force of the Defense Forces carried out six strikes against areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the occupiers as well as a strike on a surface-to-air missile complex over the past day. Also, two enemy reconnaissance drones — type "Zala" and "Orlan-10" were shot down.
Units of rocket forces and artillery during the past day inflicted damage to a surface-to-air missile complex, four areas of concentration of personnel, and a radar station of the aggressor.
