Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on April 25, 2023, regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The four hundred and sixtieth day of the large-scale military aggression by the Russian Federation against our state has begun.

Yesterday, the enemy carried out six rocket strikes and 62 air raids, conducted 70 shelling operations with multiple launch rocket systems.

The likelihood of missile and air raid attacks on the entire territory of Ukraine remains high.

Main efforts by the enemy are still focused on conducting offensive actions on the Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariinka axes. Units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 43 enemy attacks in these sectors over the past day. The fiercest battles continue for control of Bakhmut and Mariinka.

On the Volyn and Polesie axes, the operational situation — no significant changes. Signs of forming offensive groupings have not been detected.

On the Northern and Slobozhanskyi axes, the enemy maintains military presence in border regions with Ukraine in Bryansk, Kursk, and Belgorod oblasts. Yesterday, it carried out shelling of populated areas of Klusi, Gremyach in Chernihiv Oblast; Novovasylivka, Kucherivka, Shaligine, Stukalyvka, Iskriskivshchyna, Volfine, Mogrytsia, Popivka in Sumy Oblast, as well as Okip, Mali Prohody, Strylecha, Neskuchne, Gatishe, Budarki and Chugunivka in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupyansk axis, the enemy continues fortification measures on certain sectors. Artillery and mortar shelling by the enemy affected populated areas of Topoli, Kamianka, Krasne Pereche, Figolivka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kindrashivka, Masutyvka, Kyslivka in Kharkiv Oblast and Novoselivske — Luhansk.

On the Lyman axis, the enemy did not conduct offensive operations. Artillery shelling affected Makieivka, Nevsko, Dibrova, Bihorivka in Luhansk Oblast and Torske, Verkhnyokamyanske, Spirene and Pereyezne in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut axis, the enemy continues offensive actions. Fierce battles are ongoing for control of the city of Bakhmut. Additionally, during the past day, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations towards populated areas of Novomarkove and Khromove. The following suffered from enemy shelling: Vasyukivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Markove, Hryhorivka, Khromove, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, Stupochki, Pivnichne and New York in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Avdiivka axis, the enemy conducted offensive operations near populated areas of Novokalynove, Stepole, Severne and Pereymayske in Donetsk Oblast without success. It also shelled populated areas including Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Severne, Tonenne, Lastochkine, Pereymayske, Karlivka and Nevelske in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Mariinka axis, during the past day our defenders repelled enemy attacks near populated areas of Mariinka as well as around Novomikhailivka. Enemy shelling affected Krasnogorivka, Gostre, Georgiyivka, Mariinka, Pobeda, Novomikhailivka and Paraskeviyivka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Shakhtarsk axis, during the past day the enemy did not conduct offensive operations. It shelled Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Velika Novosilka and Komar in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson axes, the enemy is defending its positions. At the same time, it carried out shelling of populated areas near the line of contact. Among them — Novosilka, Novopil in Donetsk Oblast; Olhyvskyi, Maliyivka, Chervone, Hulyaypilske, Charivne, Orikhiv in Zaporizhzhia Oblast; Ivanivka, Antonivka in Kherson Oblast and the city of Kherson.

To provide medical assistance to their wounded, Russian occupiers continue to actively use medical facilities in temporarily occupied areas of Luhansk Oblast. In particular, in the town of Hrustalnyi, occupiers have set up a military hospital on the territory of the city clinic.

The Air Force of the Defense Forces carried out nine strikes against enemy personnel and equipment concentrations as well as three strikes against air defense missile systems over the past day. In addition, our defenders shot down 10 enemy drones of various types.

Units of rocket forces and artillery during the past day damaged an air defense missile system and two radio-electronic warfare stations belonging to the enemy.
