President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about his working visit to Volyn and about the latest package of military support from the United States of America.

"I wish you good health, dear Ukrainians!

I am returning from my trip.

Today I was in Volyn, with our border guards, at the border, including with Belarus. Border security, defense, development of border territories — many issues. Volyn demonstrates true strength, and this is felt in how the region strengthens the security of the entire country.

I presented awards to our border guards. Together with all our forces of defense and security, border guards fight on the front lines, especially at the most difficult sectors. Bakhmut, generally Donetsk… True heroes who have successfully completed hundreds and hundreds of combat missions.

We are also preparing new units — border guard units that join our active operations and the movement we are gradually developing.

We continue to work on the development of all our regions. Today in Volyn I held a broad meeting with regional leaders, local law enforcement, military, everyone responsible for security and social conditions in the region. We agreed on several infrastructure projects that will strengthen Volyn — this is important — and provide opportunities to guarantee long-term jobs and economic growth. I am confident we will definitely implement all of this very soon.

We continue preparing our international steps not only for this week but generally for the near future. The defense of Ukraine, an international order based on rules, remains the number one item on the global agenda.

By the way, I would like to thank the United States for the latest package of military support announced today.

And separately, I want to highlight our defenders and defenders of the sky — air forces and corresponding units of other branches of service.

At the state level, everything is being done to increase the ability to defend against Russian strikes. Anti-aircraft systems and other weapons for protecting the sky are already here in Ukraine, very serious ones. But they must be — and I am confident that they will be — even more powerful.

Thank you to everyone whose accuracy and speed ensures the effectiveness of all this weaponry that has appeared in our country!

Tonight, in particular, were especially accurate soldiers of the 160th anti-aircraft missile brigade «South» and mobile fire groups of the 164th Sloviansk Radio Technical Brigade «East». Thank you! Throughout the day our soldiers defended the skies over Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, other regions, cities…

Glory to everyone who is now fighting for our country!

Glory to our strong people!

Glory to Ukraine!»
