President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about the need to resolve issues regarding Russian assets that should go towards compensating our losses and about meeting with a U.S. Senate delegation in Kyiv.

"I wish health to all dear Ukrainians!

Just participated in a special format support for Ukraine - financial. This event takes place in Washington and unites finance ministers of strong democracies - our partners, the European Commission, leaders of international financial institutions (IMF, World Bank, EBRD). The topic is mainly about reconstruction. Reconstruction of our country after military actions.

I thanked my partners for helping us maintain Ukraine's stability and financial stability. And I called on them to be more active so that Ukraine can be more active in rebuilding, in returning normal life to Ukrainians.

There will be no ruins in Ukraine. This is our goal. And this will be a clear proof of the complete defeat of the state-terrorist.

Especially since the world knows solutions - regarding Russian assets, Russian officials, oligarchs who became rich while their country was becoming a terrorist. All these assets should go towards compensating losses to those whom Russia brought pain and suffering. Russian assets must be used for reconstruction after aggression. War must be most expensive for the aggressor. And all of this we are doing. Thank you to our partners who support us.

Today in Kyiv, I met with a U.S. Senate delegation - a bipartisan delegation. Informed them about what is happening on the battlefield and about our capabilities. As always, we demonstrated that our relations with America in weapons supply, financial support are completely clean, completely transparent. Partners have full visibility regarding every cent and each unit of arms. And this is important so that no artificial manipulations undermine our trust.

Of course, it was pleasant for me to hear from our guests from the United States very positive words about Ukraine and what we achieve together in defense against terror.

It was very emotionally moving and honorable for me today to welcome our young police officers and rescuers of the State Emergency Service upon completion of their training. Over 3,000 young people - professional and patriotic - are now joining those who already protect security and normalcy. They will work especially in those regions where it is most dangerous. They serve in frontline areas, at border posts - in Kharkiv and Sumy regions. There are also those who will fight in our new assault brigades.

I thank everyone who chose this direct path of helping people right now. Without the selfless work of the State Emergency Service and police, it is simply unimaginable to have normal life or save many lives. This, indeed, is what their work is all about - direct help to people.

I believe that today's graduates from training institutions in the MVS system will live up to human expectations.

By the way, I would like to now highlight our defenders - such rescuers, especially from Mykolaiv. Employees of the State Emergency Service Major Artem Shuldyakov, Lieutenant Fedor Zaiyakin, Senior Sergeant Vasyl Muzhychenko, Junior Sergeant Vitaliy Bulkin. Thank you, guys, for saving Ukrainians after Russian missile strikes!

I also highlight police crews - "white angels" who rescue our people in Donetsk, evacuate them, deliver humanitarian aid, resuscitate the wounded…

Thank you to policeman Hennadiy Yudin from Avdiivka for rescuing children, paramedic Vasyl Pipi, one of the "white angels" on the Mariupol front line. They have already saved hundreds of our people, including seriously wounded.

I also thank today especially bomb disposal experts of the National Police Volodymyr Perepelitsa who works for demining in Kherson region and works very effectively. Thank you!

And one more thing.

Today our country traditionally celebrates the Day of Workers of Rocket-Space Industry. That industry that has always made Ukraine famous. And I am sure it will continue to do so!

Thank you all who have preserved this potential of ours. Our current level of integration into international relations, our strength - both state and society - which Ukraine deserves, the level of our people - all this will give Ukraine the ability to participate in space exploration on par with leading countries, and our business - on par with leading companies.

But first of all — we must win! Especially — thanks to Ukrainian rockets.

Glory to all our soldiers who are now in battle!
