According to the official website BSWW, the qualifying tournament for the 2023 World Beach Soccer Championship in the European zone will take place in Azerbaijan. The matches will be held from July 2nd to July 9th at the Olympic Stadium in Baku.

Format of the 2023 World Cup Qualifying Tournament for Europe

July 2-4: A preliminary qualifying stage where teams ranked outside the top 12 in BSWW will compete for four spots in the group stage.

July 5-7: The group stage, featuring the 12 best European teams according to the BSWW ranking and the four winners of the preliminary qualifying stage. Teams are divided into four groups of four. Currently, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Italy, Ukraine, Germany, France, Azerbaijan, Turkey, Poland, Moldova, and Estonia are in the top 12 in Europe.

July 8: Semi-finals and first matches of the play-offs for 5th-16th place.

July 9: Final and third-place playoff matches.

It is worth noting that four teams with the best results in the qualifying tournament in Baku will advance to the final stage of the 2023 World Cup, which will take place in the United Arab Emirates.

We remind you that as part of preparations for the season, the Ukrainian beach soccer national team from April 10th to April 18th will hold a training camp in Portugal, where they will play four friendly matches.

In addition to the European qualifying tournament for the 2023 World Cup, under the guidance of Mykola Kostenko and Oleksandr Korniychuk, this season also includes the European Games in Krakow (June 26-30), qualification for the EuroLeague Super Final (dates and venue will be announced later), and the II World Beach Games on Bali (August 6-12).

In case of successful performances in the World Cup qualifying tournament and the EuroLeague Super Final, blue-and-yellow teams will participate in the final tournaments of these competitions.
