On March 31, the blue-and-yellow team traveled through Poland to Denmark. The Ukrainian players arrived in Kegel, where thanks to the support of the Danish Football Association, they held a short training camp. Today's match against Sweden marks the beginning of our team's battles for qualification to the final stage of Euro-2023.

From the start of the game, the Scandinavian players took control. On the 25th minute, Duras opened the scoring by finishing off a cross from Nielden on the far post, and just before halftime she completed her brace by being first to the rebound.

After halftime, the Swedes extended their lead to a rout. On the 52nd minute, Renberg took advantage of Boklach's mistake coming out from goal, followed by goals from Svedman and Björk. In the end, Ukraine lost with a score of 0-5.

Now Valeriy Palamarchuks' wards await a meeting with the hosts, which will take place on April 8 (kickoff at 15:30 Kyiv time).
