To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on March 31, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The four hundred and first day of the large-scale military aggression by the Russian Federation against our country has begun.

During the past day, the enemy carried out 11 missile strikes and four air raids, conducted 43 attacks with multiple rocket launchers.

The enemy continues to ignore laws and customs of war, employing a terror tactic against civilians in our country. Overnight, using S-300 SAMs, the enemy launched nine missile strikes on civilian infrastructure in Kharkiv city. For aerial attacks, the enemy used 10 combat drones of the "Shahed-136" type; nine of them were destroyed by our defenders.

The likelihood of further missile and air raids across all of Ukraine remains quite high.

The enemy concentrates its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariupol directions. Units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled over 80 attacks by the enemy. The populated areas of Bilohorivka, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Mariupol remain in the epicenter of combat operations.

On the Volynian, Polesian, Severian, and Slobozhansky directions the operational situation has not changed significantly; no signs of offensive group formations have been detected. Military exercises by units of territorial defense forces of the Russian Federation are ongoing in Belarusian territory. The enemy continues to maintain a military presence in border areas of Kursk and Belgorod regions. During the past day, the enemy shelled populated areas of Hryhoriivka, Chernihiv region; Novovasylivka, Nova Huta, Stukalivka, Iskriskyshchyna, Volfinne, Katerynivka, Sumi region, as well as over 15 populated areas in Kharkiv oblast, including Kozacha Lopan', Strilecha, Oliynikove, Neskuchne, Vylia, Krasnoe Pervoe, Topoli.

On the Kupyansk and Lyman directions the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the areas of Stelmakhivka, Kuzminykh, and Berestevo. Artillery shelling was experienced by Dvorichanske, Zapadne, Dvoricha, Masutyvka, Synkivka, Kupyansk, and Krokhmalne, Kharkiv region; Novoselyvske, Nevyske, and Bilohorivka, Luhansk region, as well as Rozdolovka, Kolodyazi, Toriske, Seversk, and Spirene in Donetsk oblast.

On the Bakhmut direction the enemy continues assault operations on the city of Bakhmut; our defenders repelled 22 attacks. At the same time, the enemy conducted unsuccessful offensive operations in the area of Orilhovo-Vasylivka, Donetsk region. Shelled populated areas of Minkivka, Orilhovo-Vasylivka, Druzhkivka, and Bakhmut, Donetsk oblast.

On the Avdiivka and Mariupol directions the enemy conducted offensive operations towards populated areas of Novobakhmutivka, Novokalynove, Stepole, Avdiivka, Severne, Vodyane, Krasnogorivka, and Mariupol in Donetsk oblast; was unsuccessful. Shelled populated areas of Novokalynove, Keramik, Novoselyvka Pervaya, Berdychi, Avdiivka, Nevel'ske, Krasnogorivka, Mariupol', Georgiyivka, Kurakhovo, Ostrovs'ke, Pobeda, and Novomikhaylivka in Donetsk oblast.

On the Shakhtarsk direction during the day, the enemy shelled populated areas of Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Niva, Shakhtarske, and Velika Novosyilka in Donetsk oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions occupiers inflicted fire damage on over 30 populated areas. Among them — Novosylikha, Novopil of Donetsk region; Olhivske, Charivne, Bihor'ya, Mala Tokmacha, Novodanilyvka, Novoandriyivka, Shcherbaky in Zaporizhzhia oblast and Novoolesandrivka, Kozatske, Ivanivka, Inzhenerne, Yantarne, and Kizomys of Kherson region.

The Air Force of the Defense Forces carried out six strikes on enemy concentration areas during the past day. And units of rocket troops and artillery inflicted damage to one command post, six enemy force concentration areas, two ammunition depots, and two fuel and lubricant storage facilities.

Overall, our soldiers liquidated 460 Russian invaders in the past day. The enemy also lost five tanks, three armored combat vehicles, four artillery systems, nine OTR drones, three cars, and three units of special equipment.
