For the media's attention! There are no bans regarding Andriy Pavelka's re-election to the UEFA Executive Committee

Reacting to the spread by certain media outlets of false information, we wish to clarify the following.

There is no court decision that prohibits UAF President Andriy Pavelko from re-election to the UEFA Executive Committee.

Andriy Pavelko successfully passed all UEFA checks, after which his candidacy was approved in the elections to the organization's executive committee. He is the only representative of Ukraine among all candidates.

Defending its place in the UEFA governing body for Ukraine is extremely important because the next two years will see "country 404" represent it. This last one, undoubtedly, is interested in our country losing its active positions within UEFA.

The UAF was forced to sue UNIAN and TSN for spreading false information in articles titled "Due to court decision Pavelko cannot run for UEFA", "Court banned Pavelko from running for UEFA: details of a loud case".

We ask the media to carefully approach such statements, verify information and not become accomplices to Ukraine's opponents in its fight for its football representation on the international stage.
