Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on March 12, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The 382nd day of Russia's large-scale invasion continues.

The criminal Russian regime does not abandon its intentions to occupy Ukrainian territory through the use of both its own armed forces and private military companies, as well as the armed formations of quasi-republics, continuing a wide-scale military aggression.

During the past day, the enemy carried out 12 aviation strikes and five missile attacks, two of which were on the city of Zaporizhzhia. Russian occupiers used S-300 air defense systems against civilian infrastructure targets. As a result, one building was destroyed. There are no losses or injuries among civilians. Additionally, the enemy carried out 56 shelling operations with multiple rocket launchers. One of them targeted an object of civilian infrastructure in the city of Kherson. There were casualties among civilians: two killed and three injured.

The likelihood of further missile strikes on all territories of Ukraine remains quite high.

The main goal of the enemy during the past day remained attempts to break through administrative boundaries of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. For this purpose, the enemy concentrated its efforts on conducting offensive operations along the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Mariupol, and Shakhtarsk directions. Thanks to professional and coordinated actions, our defenders repelled 92 attacks by the enemy in these areas.

On the Volyn, Polesie, Sever, and Slobozhanskyi fronts, the operational situation remained stable. The Russian Federation continues to maintain a significant military presence on the territory of Belarus but without obvious formation of offensive groups. At the same time, the enemy continues engineering equipment in border areas of Bryansk and Kursk regions. The enemy carried out mortar and artillery shelling of eight populated areas, including Chervona Zoria, Krasnyy, Ogirev, Kolodyazhne, Krasnoye First, Novomlynskiy, and Kamyanka Kharkiv region.

On the Kupyansk and Lyman fronts, the enemy maintained a significant military presence in border areas with Ukraine to prevent our units from redeploying to other directions. Also during the previous day, occupiers unsuccessfully attempted to break through our defenses, carrying out artillery shelling of 14 populated areas along the line of contact, including Dvorichnoye, Gryaznikivka, Masutivka, Kislivka and Pishchane Kharkiv region; Novoselyvskiy, Nevskiy, Kuzminoye, Bihorivka and Stelmakhivka Luhansk region, as well as Dibrova, Rozdolovka, Spirtino and Yagody Donetsk region.

On the Bakhmut front, the enemy did not stop attempting to storm the city of Bakhmut. Near the line of contact, the enemy shelled, among others, Vasylkivka, Zaliznyanske, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Hryhorivka, Bohdanivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Kostiantynivka, Bila Gora, Minkivka, Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Oleksandro-Shultyne, Zalizne and New York Donetsk region. In total, 15 populated areas on the Bakhmut front suffered from shelling by occupiers.

On the Avdiyivka, Mariupol, and Shakhtarsk fronts, the enemy attempted offensive operations towards populated areas of Kamianka, Severne, Pervomaiske, Nevelskoie, Krasnogorovka and Mariinka Donetsk region. He had no success. Numerous enemy shelling attacks were suffered by 18 populated areas near the line of contact, including Berdychi, Lastochkino, Avdiivka, Vodyane, Krasnogorovka, Georgiyevka, Bogoyavlenska, Ugledar, Zolotaya Niva, Oleksandropil, Orlyvka, Tonentsye, Pervomaiske, Pyobeda, Novomykhailivka, Novoukrayinka, Prechistyvka and Velika Novosilka Donetsk region.

On the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson fronts, the enemy continues to defend. At the same time, he carried out intensive shelling of populated areas, namely Malynivky, Hulyaypole, Bihorja, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanilovka, Novoandriyivka, Mali Shcherbakivka, Olgivske, Chervono, Charivne, Tavrichane, Pridniprovske, Plyavniv, Kamianskoe and Stepanovo Zaporizhzhya region; Novopolie — Donetsk region, as well as Novodmitrivka, Mikhailovka, Dudchany, Zmievka, Veseloye, Ivanivka, Antonivka, Bilozerka, Dniprovskiy, Respublikanka, Chervonoye Mayskoye, Novosilka, Otradokamyanky, Olhivka, Tyaginivka, Tokaryvka, Poniativka, Romashkovy and the city of Kherson. In total, almost 40 populated areas suffered.

The Russian criminal regime continues to take measures for forced passportization of the population in occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Thus, military leadership of the RF forces in a mandatory manner requires all mobilized from previously occupied territories to sign long-term contracts for serving in the army of the RF. For this purpose, it is necessary to have among other documents a copy of the passport of an RF citizen. In this way, occupiers are trying to force people to give up so-called "passport L/DNR" in favor of Russian citizenship. Otherwise, military servicemen and members of their families are threatened with denial of all established payments and social protection provided for military personnel of the armed forces of the RF.

The aviation of the Ukrainian Armed Forces carried out six strikes against areas of enemy manpower concentration and military equipment during the day, while rocket units and artillery divisions hit four areas of enemy manpower concentration, one ammunition depot and two locations for deployment of enemy REB stations.

Overall, Ukrainian soldiers liquidated 1090 Russian invaders in the past day, destroyed eight tanks, seven armored combat vehicles, four artillery systems, two anti-aircraft missile systems and four vehicles.
