President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about a conference United for Justice in Lviv and a separate meeting with chief prosecutors from partner countries and international institutions.

"I wish health to all dear Ukrainians!

Today since morning — in Lviv, a very busy day. Meetings, talks, the United for Justice conference dedicated to restoring justice for Ukraine. Today Lviv and all of Ukraine are focused on the legal energy of Europe and other partners.

Representatives from European Union countries and European institutions have come to the conference. In particular, here is a commissioner for justice, head of Eurojust. Also representatives from Britain, the United States of America.

Today in Lviv are general prosecutors and ministers of justice from various countries. President of Latvia, deputy prime minister of the Netherlands, foreign minister of Estonia — active lobbyists for justice, our special guests, and I held separate talks with them today.

The key issue of all these meetings and the Lviv conference is responsibility. Responsibility of Russia and its leadership — personal — for aggression and terror against our state and people. And when there will be their responsibility, justice will be restored.

We are gathering maximum support for a tribunal on Russian aggression against Ukraine. For the project of our resolution to be voted in the UN General Assembly, about protecting international law. We do everything so that the International Criminal Court is successful in punishing Russian war criminals. And so that our national law enforcement and judicial institutions ensure fair verdicts for all Russian killers and torturers.

There was a very fruitful separate meeting with chief prosecutors from partner countries and international institutions. We see eye to eye on the protection of the rule of law.

Fruitful were also talks with foreign ministers of the Netherlands and Estonia.

Very well went talks with President of Latvia, who by the way has already visited Ukraine for the third time during full-scale war.

We signed an important bilateral declaration with my Latvian colleague. A declaration that enshrines justice at a political level. Latvia will support Ukraine's full integration into the EU and NATO, and defend this position at all levels.

So today was indeed a productive day.

And what is very important, the day started with honoring the heroism of our soldiers. In the morning I visited Lviv hospital where our fighters are recovering from injuries. Had the honor to meet with soldiers and present them state awards.

I also honored doctors who save lives of our fighters.

Together with President of Latvia, first ladies of our countries we paid tribute to fallen heroes at Lychakiv Cemetery's Pantheon of Honor.

And I thank all partners of Ukraine. I thank every leader, every politician, every civic activist from the states that help us for understanding the price that the Ukrainian people pays for freedom — their own and everyone in Europe's.

Every day Ukrainian heroes give their lives to stop Russian aggression.

And so the world has a clear moral obligation towards our soldiers, towards every one who is fighting now and defending freedom.

This obligation — to restore justice and hold the state-terrorist accountable, its leadership. And this will be.

Today we have those to honor for successes on the battlefield.

I thank fighters of 27th Pechersk Brigade of National Guard who are fighting in the Donetsk direction. Skillfully destroy enemy equipment.

Thank you air force anti-aircraft troops — shot down another Russian bomber. Nikopol Anti-Aircraft Missile Regiment. Keep it up, soldiers!

I thank fighters of 72nd Separate Mechanized Brigade, 59th Separate Motor-Rifle Brigade, 79th Separate Airborne Assault Brigade, marines — 35th brigade, artillerymen — 55th artillery brigade...

A worthy defense of the enemy now is a prelude to success of our defensive operations in the coming months.

I thank fighters of 128th Separate Brigade of Special Forces and 1st Tank Brigade, who are defending the Zaporizhzhia direction. Well done, boys!

And of course I thank everyone in OSUV "Khortytsya" who is defending Bakhmut, who bravely and resolutely fulfills combat tasks.

Glory to all who are fighting for Ukraine now!

Thank you everyone who brings closer the victory of our people and historical verdicts for organizers and perpetrators of Russian aggression!

Eternal glory and respect to all who gave their lives for Ukraine and for saving our people!

Glory to Ukraine!»
