Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on March 1, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The three hundred and seventy-first day of the Russian large-scale invasion has begun.

On the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, and Shakhtarsk directions yesterday our defenders repelled more than 85 attacks by the enemy.

During the past day Russian occupiers carried out two missile strikes and twelve air raids, including the use of two "Shahed-136" drones. These drones were shot down by our soldiers. The enemy also conducted 68 artillery shelling using multiple rocket launchers. Civilians suffered as a result.

The level of threat from missile attacks remains high across the entire territory of Ukraine.

On the Volyn, Polesie, North and Slobozhansky directions the operational situation has not undergone significant changes. The enemy is holding its units near the state border of Ukraine but no formations for offensive operations have been detected. During the day, the enemy carried out mortar and artillery shelling of the settlements Yelene, Baranivka, Timonovychi in Chernihiv Oblast; Rozhkovychi, Bachivske, Starikove, Hryky, Atynske, Stukalivka, Budki, Volvino, Grabovskye on Sumy Oblast and Gatische, Veterinarnoye, Strilechya, Morokhovets, Lukyanets, Terneva, Vovchanivka, Potikhonove, Komisarove, Vilkhuvatka, Tikhie, Ustynivka and Aniskine in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupyansk and Lyman directions the enemy carried out offensive actions in the areas of the settlements Makieyevka, Nevske, Chernopyopovka, Shypilivka and Bihorivka in Luhansk Oblast but did not succeed. He conducted artillery shelling of the areas of the settlements Dvoriche, Grynykivka, Zapadne, Lyman First, Golubivka, Kurilyvka, Pishchane, Kyslyvka, Tabayevka in Kharkiv Oblast; Nevske, Chernopyopovka, Dybrova, Bihorivka in Luhansk Oblast and Spirene, Rozdolivka and Fedorievka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut direction the enemy continues to conduct offensive operations. He does not stop storming the city of Bakhmut. Our defenders repelled attacks in the areas of Orilovo-Vasylivka, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Bogdanivka, Bakhmut, Chasyovyi Yar and White Mountain. Enemy shelling was experienced by Zaliznyanske, Orilovo-Vasylivka, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, Kurdyumivka, Ozaryanivka, Mayoriske and Zalizne in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions the enemy continues to attack our positions. He carried out unsuccessful offensive actions towards the settlements Kamianka, Avdiivka, Vodyane, Pervomayske, Neveliske, Mariinka and Victory. He shelled areas of the settlements Veseloye, Orlikove, Avdiivka, Vodyane, Netaylove, Pervomayske, Neveliske, Krasnogorivka, Mariinka, Victory, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Neskucho and Velika Novosilka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson directions the enemy is conducting defense but attempts to create conditions for transition to offense on certain sectors. He conducts artillery shelling of areas of the settlements Vremivka, Green Field and Novopil in Donetsk Oblast; Olhyvsko, Hulyaypole, Hulyaipilske, Zaliznytsne, Charivne, Novodanylivka, Orhiy and Novandriyivka in Zaporizhzhya Oblast; Illinka, Mariupol and Nikopol on Dnipropetrovsk Oblast as well as Zmiyivka, Mykolayivka, Antonivka, Zelenivka, Komishany in Kherson Oblast and the city of Kherson.

Once again, evacuation of certain categories of civilians from temporarily occupied Crimea is being recorded. Recently, military personnel of Russian occupation forces stationed in Perovo are sending their families to Russia.

The Air Force of the Armed Forces carried out 11 strikes on areas of enemy concentration during the past day, while rocket troops and artillery hit nine areas of enemy troop concentration and an area of weapons and military equipment concentration as well as two positions of anti-aircraft missile systems, a radar station and an ammunition depot.
