Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on February 20, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The three hundred and sixty-second day of Russia's large-scale invasion has begun.

The Russian Federation continues its full-scale military aggression against Ukraine. The enemy does not stop destroying critical infrastructure of our state, continues to inflict blows, carry out artillery strikes on civilian objects and buildings of the peaceful population.

During the past day, the opponent inflicted 10 missile and 25 aviation strikes (Luhansk, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhia regions). Carried out 62 attacks with multiple rocket launchers. There are injured and killed among civilians.

The threat of Russian Federation's strikes remains high across the entire territory of Ukraine.

The enemy continues to concentrate its main efforts on conducting offensive actions along the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions.

During the past day, units of the Defense Forces repelled attacks by occupiers in the areas of the populated places of Grynykivka Kharkiv region; Bilohorivka Luhansk region; Vasyukivka, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Berkhivka, Bakhmut and Ivanivske Donetsk region.

On the Volynian, Polesian, Northern and Slobozhansky directions signs of forming offensive groupings by the enemy have not been detected. During the past day, areas of populated places in Karpovichi, Timonovichi, Yanjulivka Chernihiv region; Bunyakine, Atinske, Stukalivka, Zapyslyia and Pokrovka — Sumy region, as well as Strilecha, Staritsa, Vovchansky Hutori, Stroyivka in Kharkiv region were subjected to enemy shelling.

On the Kupyansk and Lyman directions, the enemy carried out shelling of populated places Kamianka, Kolodyazhne, Dvorichna, Grynykivka, Kupyansk, Berestove, Pershotravneve Kharkiv region; Novoselske, Stehlomakhivka, Nevske, Dybrova, Bilohorivka in Luhansk region and Bilohorivka and Rozdolivka Donetsk region.

On the Bakhmut direction, shelling was experienced by Vasyukivka, Berkhivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, White Mountain, Oleksandr-Shultyne, Kurdyumivka, Ozaryanivka, Mayor'sky and New York. In addition, the enemy used military aviation to deliver an attack in the area of Bakhmut.

On the Avdiivka and Shakhtarsk directions, occupiers shelled populated places Novobakhmutivka, Veseloe, Avdiivka, Vodyane, Pervomaiske, Krasnogorivka, Georgiyivka, Marinka, Victory, Novomykhailivka, Volodar, Bogoyavlensk, Shakhtarske, Golden Field, Great Novosilka, Veremivka and Neskyuchne Donetsk region.

On the Zaporizhzhia direction, areas of populated places Novosilka and Novopil in Donetsk region as well as Poltavka, Malinivka, Hulyaypole, Charyvne, Bihor'ya, Novodanilyivka, Novoandriyivka and Shcherbakhy — Zaporizhzhia were affected by fire.

On the Kherson direction, areas of populated places Kherson, Burgunka, Tyaginka, Antonivka in Kherson region as well as Ochakiv on Mykolaiv territory experienced artillery impact. Civilians were affected.

Russian occupiers use all means to exert pressure on the civilian population of temporarily occupied territories. In some populated places of Kherson region, oppressors equip administrative buildings for illegal detention of Ukrainian citizens suspected of cooperation with Defense Forces and pro-Ukrainian positions.

The aviation of Ukraine's Defense Forces delivered 20 strikes in the areas of concentration of personnel and military equipment of the occupiers during the past day, seven — on anti-aircraft missile complexes at firing positions, as well as two more strikes — on other important enemy objects.

Our defenders also shot down an enemy Su-25 aircraft, two unmanned aerial vehicles of the "Orlan-10" type and two kamikaze drones of the "Lancet-3" type.

Units of rocket troops and artillery inflicted damage on the enemy's battery of multiple rocket launchers.
