To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on January 27, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The three hundred thirty-eighth day of Russia's large-scale invasion has begun.

During the past day, the enemy carried out 44 air strikes. Eighteen of them — using Shahed-136 drones. All kamikaze drones were shot down. Conducted 70 missile launches, 47 of which were destroyed. Also conducted 125 artillery attacks with multiple rocket launchers. Sadly, as a result of enemy strikes, civilian casualties and destruction of civilian objects occurred.

The threat of air and missile strikes remains high across the entire territory of Ukraine.

Units of the Defense Forces yesterday repelled attacks by occupiers in the areas of the settlements Plotsanka, Nevske, and Chervonopopivka in Luhansk Oblast, as well as Verkhnyokamyanske, Paraskevivka, Bakhmut, Klyshchyivka, Vodyane, Nevelskoye, Mariinka, and Volodar on Donetsk territory.

On the Volynian, Polesian, Northern, and Slobozhansky directions the situation remains stable; no enemy offensive formations have been detected. However, joint training continues under which Russia is building up an air force group on Belarusian territory.

Artillery shelling was experienced in the areas of the settlements Timonovychi and Senkivka in Chernihiv Oblast; Timofiyivka, Pavlivka, and Velyka Pysaryvka in Sumy Oblast, as well as Strilecha, Terneva, Varvarivka, Staritsya, Volchansky Hutori, Ohrimivka, Budarky, Kolodyazhne, and Novomlynsky Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupyansk direction the enemy shelled Dvoriche, Synkivka, Podolye, Orlyanka, Pysanye, Tabayivka, Berestevo, and Lohove in Kharkiv Oblast; Stelmakhivka in Luhansk Oblast, as well as Ivanivka in Donetsk.

On the Lyman direction enemy fire hit areas of Makieyivka, Nevske, Chervonopopivka, Kremynna, Dybrove, and Kuzyminoye in Luhansk Oblast, as well as Yamolivka in Donetsk.

On the Bakhmut direction areas of Spirene, Bilohorivka, Rozdolyvka, Krasna Gora, Paraskevivka, Bakhmut, Klyshchyivka, Bila Hora, Pivnichne, and New York in Donetsk were affected by enemy fire.

On the Avdiyivka direction Berdychi, Avdiyivka, Vodyane, Krasnyhorivka, Georgiyivka, and Mariinka were shelled.

On the Novopavlivsky direction Volodar, Velyka Novosilka, and Veremivka in Donetsk were affected by enemy fire.

On the Zaporizhzhya direction over 20 populated areas suffered from artillery fire, including Novopil in Donetskyk, as well as Poltavka, Chervone, Hulyaypole, Zaliznychyne, Mala Tokmachka, Novodanylivka, Orikhiv, Novoandriyivka, Stepove in Zaporizhzhya Oblast and Vishchytarasivka in Dnipropetrovsk.

On the Kherson direction occupiers shelled Kherson again.

Our air force carried out eight strikes on enemy concentrations during the past day, as well as an attack on his anti-aircraft missile position. In addition, three enemy reconnaissance drones were shot down.

Units of rocket forces and artillery of the Defense Forces of Ukraine struck four command points, areas of concentration of enemy troops, two areas of artillery concentration, a weapons depot, and two other important enemy objects.
