Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on January 23, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The three hundred thirty-fourth day of Russia's large-scale invasion has begun.

The threat of Russian strikes using ground-based, sea-based, and air-launched missiles as well as "kamikaze" drones remains across all of Ukraine.

During the day, the enemy carried out four missile and five aviation attacks. Also conducted over 40 artillery shelling with multiple rocket launchers.

The enemy launched unsuccessful offensive actions on the Lyman, Avdiivka, and Zaporizhzhia directions. Continues offensive operations on the Bakhmut direction. On other fronts, it is defending.

Over the past day, units of the Defense Forces repelled attacks by occupiers in the areas of Stepankivka and Novoselivske villages in Luhansk Oblast and Viyimka, Rozdolivka, Bihorivka, Paraskevivka, Bakhmut, Stupochki, Novobakhmutivka, Perevalskiy, and Mariinka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Volyn, Polesie, Sever, and Slobozhansky directions, no enemy offensive groups were detected. The areas of Harkivka, Popivka villages in Sumy Oblast and Veterinarnoye, Strilechya, Zeleno, Plynya, Vovchan'sk, Novomlyn'sk, Staritsa, and Dvorichna on the Kharkivshina suffered from mortar and artillery shelling.

On the Kupyansk direction, the enemy shelled the areas of Petro-Pavlivka, Tabayivka, Synykyvka, Krokhmalne, and Kupyansk in Kharkiv Oblast as well as Novoselivske and Stepankivka in Luhansk.

On the Lyman direction, artillery fire hit Makieyivka, Ploschanka, Chervonopopyvka, Seriyebryans'ke forest, and Kuzymne in Luhansk Oblast.

On the Bakhmut direction, 21 populated areas were affected by artillery fire. Among them — Verkhnyokamyanske, Krasnopolyvka, Zalizne, Bihorivka, Krasna Gora, Bakhmut, Kurdyumyvka, and Mayor'sk in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Avdiivka direction, artillery fire hit Avdiivka, Nevel'ske, Perevalskiy, Krasnogorivka, Georgiyivka, and Mariinka.

On the Novopavlivka direction the enemy carried out shelling with artillery and mortars in the areas of Bogoyavlenskaya and Mikils'kye in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhia direction, over 20 populated areas suffered from artillery fire, including Vylne Pole, Veremivka, Novopil on Donetschyna and Hulyaypole, Pavlivka, Novodanilyvka, Stepove, Orikhyv, Shcherbaky, and Mala Tokmachka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

On the Kherson direction, among others, artillery shelling hit the areas of Dudchany, Ingulets, Hryhorivka, Burgunka, Monastyrske, Antonivka, and Kherson.

From January 18 to 21 this year, reinforcements of live troops occupied Vynohradove and Berylivka in Kherson Oblast. The personnel were only armed with small arms, protective gear such as bulletproof vests was available only to a few individuals, no military equipment was brought in.

The enemy continues to suffer losses. For example, the city hospital of Dniprorodne Zaporizhzhia Oblast is overcrowded with wounded soldiers. Only recently about 150 injured were delivered there. At the same time, most of the medical staff refused to cooperate with the occupiers, so doctors are being sent from the Russian Federation.

The aviation of the Defense Forces carried out three strikes on enemy concentration areas during the day. Also shot down an enemy UAV "Orlan-10". Ukrainian rocket and artillery units hit four enemy concentration areas and three ammunition depots.
