President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about the necessity to put an end to Russian aggression this year and about discussions with partners regarding our initiative—the peace formula.

"I wish health to all dear Ukrainians!

Today we have new and powerful results from our diplomatic marathon.

France is elevating European defense support for Ukraine to a new level, and I thank President Macron for this leadership.

We will receive more armored vehicles, including wheeled tanks of French manufacture. This sends a clear signal to all other partners: there is no rational reason now why Western-pattern tanks have not yet been supplied to Ukraine. And that is very important to restore security for all Ukrainians and peace for all Europeans.

Just before the new "Ramses" meeting, such a signal is extremely relevant. We need to put an end to Russian aggression this year and not postpone any of those defensive opportunities that can speed up the defeat of the state-terrorist. Modern Western armor, tanks of Western pattern—this is one of such key opportunities.

I want to thank Denmark today after talking with Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen. I informed her about the current situation on the front lines and that Russia plans another wave of aggression in the coming months. We must make this wave the last—no chance for terrorists to have a comeback.

I heard today strong support from Denmark, readiness to strengthen our positions together in the fight against aggression. And it is very important that this year Denmark will protect Europe's security and international law just as after February 24th.

Today I spoke with the President of Romania. This was a substantive and multifaceted conversation. I thanked Mr. President for the level of cooperation we achieved last year, which applies to political, defense, and economic cooperation as well. We did a lot together to protect the Black Sea region. I am confident that this year we will do even more.

As I have already said, every day I will continue such diplomatic activity—this marathon of talks with leaders of partner states and friends of Ukraine around the world. For any new attempt by the aggressor to mobilize and throw something else against Ukraine, we are responding and will respond very specifically and effectively. Exactly what is needed on the battlefield and for the defense of our entire country's territory.

Each of our partners has completely specific information about our defense needs. And our goal is one—to end Russian aggression faster, to restore a reliable and long-lasting peace.

We discuss our initiative—the peace formula—with all leaders. This is ten clear points. All security elements, our territorial integrity, complete withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukrainian territory, and full guarantee of justice—that is, punishment for all those guilty in this aggression and crimes against Ukraine and Ukrainians, as well as compensation for all losses inflicted on Ukraine at the expense of assets of the state-terrorist.

I want to highlight today our fighters on the Bakhmut axis, especially the special unit GUR "Shaman," as well as border guards from the Luhansk detachment who together with soldiers of the International Legion of Ukraine's Defense inflict heavy losses on the enemy and drive out occupiers from positions around Bakhmut. This is a good result, and I thank them for it.

Every such result and every day of failure by the enemy on the Bakhmut axis and generally in Donbas—this is a significant weakening of the state-aggressor. Occupiers have already been half a year postponing the date when they expect to capture all of Donbas. They expected it by New Year's—and our defenders are again demonstrating successes. The occupiers constantly increase their forces in Donetsk—they are doing this now. And every such day with our successes is a new proof of the absurdity of the idea of attacking Ukraine. If only such news from the front can bring back a sense of reality to all in Russia, we must ensure it as much as possible.

And one needs to understand how difficult and painful this task is. But there's no other way. Terrorists have to lose despite everything they try to do to strengthen themselves.

I thank the defenders of Bakhmut Fortress!

I thank all our fighters who are holding back pressure on the Solodar axis and defending positions!

Of course, I thank all those fighters who bring quite encouraging news from Luhansk and some southern regions of our country!

I thank everyone fighting for Ukraine!

Thank you to everyone helping us!

Glory to Ukraine!"
