Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on January 1, 2023 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The three hundred and twelfth day of the Russian large-scale invasion has begun.

During the past day, the enemy carried out 31 rocket and 12 air strikes and conducted over 70 shelling operations with multiple launch rocket systems. Civilian infrastructure in Chernihiv, Sumy, Kyiv, Khmelnytskyi, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions was affected. Information regarding civilian casualties is being verified.

In addition, the enemy launched 13 Iranian combat drones "Shahed-136". All of them were destroyed by the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

The threat of enemy air and missile strikes remains throughout Ukraine. Be cautious!

During the past day, our soldiers repelled attacks by occupiers in the areas of Stepanivka, Plotanka, and Bihorivka in Luhansk region and Siversk, Bahmutskiy, Bahmut, Ozernyanivka, Mariinka, and Pobedy — Donetsk.

On the Volynian, Polissian, Northern, and Slobozhansky directions, the situation is stable. The enemy maintains military presence in border areas but there are no signs of forming offensive groups.

On the Northern and Slobozhansky directions, artillery and mortar shelling was experienced by the regions of Buchka and Yasna Polyana in Chernihiv region; Novovasylivka, Vintorivka, Ulanove, Studenok, Khodine, Hryhoriyevka, Iskriskyshchyna, Krasnopillya on Sumy region, and Udy, Strilecha, Alisivka, Krasne, Staritsya, Gatishche, Vovchanets, Terneva, and Katerynivka in Kharkiv region.

On the Kupyansk direction, shelling was experienced by Lysychansky First, Zapadne, Masutyvka, Tokaryvka, Kupyansk, and Orlyanivske in Kharkiv region, as well as Novoselyvskiy, Stepanivka, and Andriyivka in Luhansk region.

On the Lyman direction, shelling was experienced by Plotanka, Makarivka, Nevsky, and Dybrova in Luhansk region, as well as Chervonopopivka, Terny, and Toriske in Donetsk region.

On the Bakhmut direction, the enemy carried out shelling with tanks, mortars, field artillery, and multiple launch rocket systems on positions of our troops in more than 25 populated areas. Among them — Spirene, Siversk, Bakhmutskiy, Bakhmut, Kostenkivka, Kurdyumivka, Mayoriv, and New York in Donetsk region.

On the Avdiyivka direction, shelling was experienced by Veselye, Avdiyivka, Nevelskiy, Mariinka, Krasnogorivka, and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk region.

On the Novopavlivsky direction, the enemy continues to shell Vremivka, Velika Nova Sylka, Prechystyvka, Vuhledar, and Mykilske in Donetsk region.

On the Zaporizhzhia direction, fire from occupiers was recorded in more than 20 populated areas. Among them — Olhyvskiy, Hulyaypole, Stebneve, Charyvne, and Dorozhnyanka in Zaporizhzhia region.

On the Kherson direction, Russian occupiers continue to terrorize the peaceful population. Civilian infrastructure in Antonivka, Tokarivka, Mykolayivka, and Kherson was affected by shelling.

The enemy continues to lose manpower. Over the past week alone, nearly 350 wounded Russian soldiers were transported to a city hospital in Bilovodsk of Luhansk region.

On December 30 last year, losses of the enemy in Zaporizhzhia region amounted to about 160 wounded occupiers, with ten units of various types of military equipment destroyed. Information regarding liquidated Russian soldiers is being verified at this time.

In the area of the populated point Lysychan Second in Kharkiv region, the enemy has strengthened counterintelligence activities and conducts searches for pro-Ukrainian oriented population.

The aviation of the Defense Forces inflicted blows on areas where enemies are concentrated, as well as on their air defense missile complex positions. Our rocket forces and artillery hit command posts, four points of concentration of manpower, and a command post for drones of occupiers.
