Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on December 22, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The second three hundredth day of the Russian large-scale invasion has begun.

To date, after nearly ten months, Russia has lost over 100 thousand personnel, three thousand tanks and almost six thousand other armored vehicles in Ukraine.

Continuing its aggression, during the past day the enemy carried out six rocket strikes and fifteen air raids, including on civilian objects in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. The adversary also conducted 64 attacks with multiple launch rocket systems.

During the past day our soldiers repelled the occupiers' attacks in the areas of Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Ploschanok and Chervonopopivka in Luhansk Oblast as well as Bereste, Yakovlivka, Sverdlovsk, Bakhmut, Opitne, Kurdyumivka, Ozaranyvka, Mayorshchyna, New York, Krasnogorivka, Neveliske and Mariinka in Donetsk.

On the Volynian, Polesian, Northern and Slobozhansky directions, there have been no significant changes. Signs of enemy offensive group formations have not been detected.

At the same time, on the Northern direction, the enemy shelled the area around Zaruzychne in Sumy Oblast with multiple launch rocket systems.

On the Slobozhansky direction, tank and artillery attacks were suffered by areas of Chervona Zorya, Kozacha Lopan’, Vesele, Varvarivka, Starytsia, Vovchansk, Vilcha, Chernyakiv, Chugunivka and Ambarno in Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupyansky direction, artillery strikes hit Novomlynivka, Kupyansk, Kislivka, Kotliarivka, Krokhmalne and Bereste in Kharkiv Oblast as well as Novoselivske and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk.

On the Lyman direction, shelling was recorded near Makieyivka, Ploschanok, Nevske, Chervonopopivka and Dibrova in Luhansk Oblast.

On the Bakhmutsky direction, the enemy fired from tanks and all types of artillery on areas around Verkhnykamyanske, Spirene, Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka, Sverdlovsk, Bakhmut, Podgrodne, Bakhmut, Opitne, Klyshyivka, Andriyivka, Oleksandr-Shulhtyne, Kurdyumivka, Dilievka, Ozaranyvka, Druzhba, Pivnichne, Mayorshchyna, Zalizne and New York in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Avdiyivsky direction, artillery fire affected Krasnogorivka, Vesele, Vodiane, Pereymayske, Neveliske, Mariinka and Novomikhaylivka in Donetsk.

On the Novopavlovsky direction, the enemy carried out tank and various caliber artillery attacks on areas around Uzhhorod, Prichystivka, Novoukrainka and Velyka Novosylikha in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhian and Kherson directions, shelling with rocket and field artillery was suffered by the village of Chervonohryhorivka in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast and the city of Kherson.

The destruction of enemy personnel and equipment concentrations on December 17, 2022 near Gorlovka in Donetsk Oblast has been confirmed. There, thirteen enemy servicemen were liquidated, four of whom were officers. A combat vehicle for the airborne troops was also destroyed along with three trucks loaded with ammunition. Information about casualties is being verified.

In order to build fortification structures in Belgorod Oblast, local Russian authorities announced a call for volunteers for financial compensation to dig trenches and establish concrete cones.

The Air Force of the Defense Forces carried out 14 strikes on areas concentrating personnel, weapons and military equipment of the occupiers during the past day. Our defenders also shot down one enemy UAV of the "Fortress" type and two more — of the "Lancet-3" type.

Ukrainian rocket forces and artillery simultaneously hit three command posts and two areas concentrating live forces of the enemy.
