Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on December 21, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The three hundred and first day of the Russian large-scale invasion has begun.

Over the past day, units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled attacks by the occupiers in the areas of 25 populated places. Among them — Masutivka in Kharkiv Oblast; Pikyachansky, Dybrova and Bihorivka in Luhansk Oblast, and Verkhnyokamyanske, Vesela, Yakovlivka, Bahmutskoe, Bahmut, Vodyane, Pisky, Nevelske, Mariinka, Novomykhailivka and Prechystivka in Donetsk Oblast.

At the same time, the enemy inflicted five missile strikes and 16 air raids, as well as carried out 61 artillery attacks with multiple rocket launchers. As a result of this, significant damage was sustained by civilian infrastructure, and civilians in the cities of Kherson, Kostyantynivka and Vovchansk were affected.

Throughout the territory of Ukraine, there remains the danger of air and missile strikes.

On the Volynian and Polesian Directions no significant changes, signs of forming offensive groupings by the enemy have not been detected.

On the Northern and Slobozhansky Directions the enemy shelled our troops' positions with artillery in the areas of 16 populated places. Among them — Mykhalychyna Sloboda, Chernihiv Oblast, and Vilcha, Vesela, Vovchansk, Vovchansky Hutori, Varvaryvka, Vilhuvatka and Dvorichna in Kharkiv Oblast. The enemy also engaged strike UAVs and army aviation near Krasnyy, Kharkiv Oblast.

On the Kupyansk and Lyman Directions areas of populated places such as Novomlynsk, Kupyansk, Kislivka, Kotlyarivka and Krokhmalne in Kharkiv Oblast, and Stelmakhivka, Makieyivka, Ploschanka, Chervonopopivka and Dybrova in Luhansk Oblast were subjected to artillery fire.

On the Bakhmut and Avdiivsky Directions the enemy continues offensive actions. He shelled our positions with tanks and artillery in the areas of more than 20 populated places. Among them — Verkhnyokamyanske, Spirene, Bihorivka, Solodar, Bahmutskoe, Bahmut, Dilievka, Vodyane, Nevelske, Mariinka and Novomykhailivka in Donetsk Oblast. Air strikes were carried out in the areas of Spirene and Bihorivka.

On the Novopavlivsky Direction the enemy conducted shelling with tanks and various caliber artillery on our troops' positions near Vuhledar, Prechystivka and Velika Nova Sylka in Donetsk Oblast.

On the Zaporizhzhya and Kherson Directions the enemy continues shelling with rocket artillery areas of populated places such as Bihor'ya, Kamianske and Mali Shcherbaky in Zaporizhzhya Oblast, and Novodmitrivka, Kamianske, Respublikanets, Novoberyslav, Poniutivka, Kherson, Mikilske, Sadove and Antonivka in Kherson Oblast.

Confirmed artillery strikes on December 19th near the concentration of enemy troops' manpower and equipment in Kherson Oblast, in the area of Vasylivka. Eight units of heavy military equipment of various types were destroyed. Information about losses in manpower is being clarified.

Since December 12th, Russian occupation forces have been preparing for forced evacuation of Ukrainian citizens living on the territory of the city of Vasylivka and neighboring populated places in the Vasylivsky district of Zaporizhzhya Oblast.

The Air Force of the Defense Forces carried out 10 strikes against areas concentrating manpower, weapons and military equipment, as well as 12 strikes against positions of enemy air defense missile systems during the past day.

Units of rocket forces and artillery of the Ukrainian Defense Forces struck ammunition depots, three command points and ten areas concentrating enemy manpower.
