President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky addressed the nation, speaking about reconstruction efforts in southern parts of the country and the possibilities for expanding our Black Sea export corridor.

"I wish you good health, dear Ukrainians!

Today is quite a busy day for us.

I chaired a meeting of the Supreme Council. The situation on the frontline, energy restoration, intelligence about enemy plans and calculations, internal challenges. We thoroughly analyze everything in detail.

Reconstruction efforts are ongoing in southern parts of our country – we are doing everything to bring light back to Odessa. As of now, it has been partially possible to restore supply in Odessa and other cities and regions of the region. We are working hard to reach maximum capacity under post-Russian strikes conditions.

But right now, the Odessa region is still among those areas with the most outages.

Kyiv and oblast, Lvivshchyna, Vinnytsia, Ternopil and oblast, Chernivtsi and oblast, Zakarpattia, Sumyshchyna, Dnipropetrovshchyna – the situation remains very difficult. We are constantly working with partners to ease the situation and give our people more opportunities, more electricity.

The next week will be important in this regard. G7 summit, conference in France on Ukraine's recovery and resilience for winter, EU-level events... We are preparing for participation, expecting significant results.

I spoke with President Macron today. This was quite a long conversation – over an hour – and very substantive. Defense, energy, economy, diplomacy... Coordinating steps, preparing to implement our peace formula – Mr. President Macron supports it, and this is very important for us.

Today I spoke with Turkish President Erdogan. As always, a very specific conversation. And about what is important not only for Ukraine and Turkey but also has truly global significance.

We discussed the possibilities of expanding our Black Sea export corridor. Thanked him for supporting our humanitarian initiative Grain from Ukraine – "Grain from Ukraine".

Agreed on some important joint steps in the near future.

Later today – a planned conversation with US President Biden. Details and results will follow after the meeting concludes.

And one more thing.

By decision of the National Security and Defense Council, sanctions have been imposed on seven individuals. We are doing everything to ensure that the state-aggressor has no strings by which it could manipulate Ukrainian society.
