Note to your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on November 21, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion into our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The two hundred and seventieth day of the Russian large-scale invasion has begun.

The enemy is attempting to hold temporarily occupied territories, concentrating efforts on restraining units of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, and continues offensive actions on certain fronts.

Over the past day, our soldiers repelled attacks by occupiers in the areas of the populated places of Bakhmut, Bilohorivka, Kurdyumivka, Mariinka, Novomykhailivka, Pervomaisk, Podgordyne, Spirne, Stepanivka and Yakovlivka in the Donetsk region.

Over the past day, the enemy carried out two missile strikes and conducted more than 60 shelling with multiple rocket launchers. Russian missile strikes hit civilian infrastructure objects in the city of Kupiansk in the Kharkiv region.

On the Volynian, Polesian, and Northern fronts, there are no significant changes in the situation; signs of forming offensive groups by the enemy have not been detected.

On the Slobozhansky front, defined units of the enemy continue to carry out tasks for covering the Russian-Ukrainian border, conducting demonstrative and provocative actions in the border areas of Belgorod Oblast. Conducted mortar shelling in the areas of populated places of Ambarne, Bochkove, Veterinaryne, Horetske, and Staritsia in Kharkiv region.

On the Kupiansky and Lyman fronts, the enemy is conducting defense on previously occupied lines. Recorded artillery shelling, including in the areas of populated places of Krokhmalne and Tabayivka in Kharkiv region; Makieyevka, Nevskoye, Novoselivske, Ploschanka, Stepanivka in Luhansk region, and Berestevo in Donetsk region.

On the Bakhmutsky and Avdiyivsky fronts, the enemy concentrates main efforts on conducting offensive actions. Conducts shelling with tanks, mortars, field artillery, and multiple rocket launchers in the areas of populated places of Andriyivka, Bakhmut, Bakhmutske, Bilohorivka, Verkhnyokamyanske, Veselo, Klyshchevka, Kurdyumivka, Krasnogorivka, Mariinka, Novomykhailivka, Ozaryanivka, Opitne, Pervomaisk, Rozdolivka, Sverdlovsk, Spirne and Yakovlivka in the Donetsk region.

On the Novopavlosky and Zaporizhzhian fronts, the enemy is conducting defense. Areas of populated places of Bogoyavlenskaya, Vremivka, Ugledar, Zolotyniv and Prechystovka in Donetsk region; Dorozhnyanka, Zaliznychne, Malinivka, Orikhiv, Stepove and Charyvne in Zaporizhzhia region, as well as the city of Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk region suffered from enemy artillery fire.

On the Kryvorizhian and Kherson fronts, the enemy is conducting positional defense, improving fortification equipment and logistical support for forward units. Conducts aerial reconnaissance with UAVs to clarify positions of our troops and correct artillery fire. Fired from field and multiple rocket launchers at areas of populated places of Veselo, Vysunty, Klapyay and Kherson city.

In the occupied territory of the Kherson region in the populated place of Lyubimivka, occupiers illegally enter private homes under the guise of searching for sabotage-reconnaissance groups and rob local residents' property.

Confirmed damage to a column of Russian occupation forces in the area of the populated place of Syrotin in Luhansk region. Information about enemy losses is being clarified.

In temporarily occupied territories of the Luhansk region, forced resettlement of local residents continues. For example, residents of Bilovodsk were forcibly relocated to the city of Luhansk.

The aviation of the Defense Forces carried out six strikes against the enemy over the past day: three — in areas where occupiers are concentrated and three — on positions of their air defense missile systems.

Units of rocket forces and artillery of the Defense Forces hit two command points, an ammunition depot, five concentration areas for personnel, weapons and military equipment, as well as two other important enemy targets over the past day.
