Last night, the participants of the UEFA Champions League 2022/2023 round of 16 were announced, unfortunately without Ukraine's sole representative from the group stage — Donetsk 'Shakhtar'.

Thus, in the first pot for the draw on November 7 (start at 13.00 Kyiv time), there will be the group winners: «Napoli» (Italy), «Porto» (Portugal), «Bayern Munich» (Germany), «Tottenham» (England), «Chelsea» (England), «Real Madrid» (Spain) goalkeeper of the Ukraine national team Andriy Lunin, «Manchester City» (England) and «Benfica» (Portugal). These teams will definitely play their first matches away.

The second pot includes clubs that finished second in their groups: «Liverpool» (England), «Club Brugge» (Belgium) players of the Ukraine national team Eduard Sobol and Roman Yaremchuk, «Inter» (Italy), «Eintracht Frankfurt» (Germany), «Milan» (Italy), «RB Leipzig» (Germany), «Borussia Dortmund» (Germany) and «Paris Saint-Germain» (France).

The first round of 16 matches will take place on February 14/15 and 21/22, 2023, while the return fixtures will be played on March 7/8 and 14/15, 2023.
