In Kremenchuk (Group "B"), neighbors in the league table met. "Kremenchuk" can be praised for creativity in attack, while "LNZ" — for reliable defense. The visitors took the lead early on after a tricky shot by Vladyslav Khameyuk, and in the first half no more dangerous moments occurred near their opponents' goal. Immediately after halftime, Ivan Tyshchenko could have doubled the advantage of the home team but failed to deliver an accurate strike from a favorable position. And shortly thereafter, universal player of the hosts Denis Galata restored parity with an assist from Oleksandr Vovdych. The final score of 1:1 pleased their rivals more.
In particular, "Obolon", taking advantage of LNЗ's slip-up, once again became sole leader. In the winning match against "Chernihiv" (3:1), grenadier of the "brewers" Oleksandr Batsalskyi completed a hat-trick and thus with his 71st goal secured a place in the top ten scorers of first league competitions.
And in Group "A", we highlight Ternopil's "Niva", which thrashed their neighbors from Ivano-Frankivsk (4:0) and strengthened their chances of making it to the elite quartet. The leadership of "Polesye" and "Carpathians" has long ceased to raise doubts in anyone.
