A week ago in France, the blue-and-whites surrendered in the UEFA Europa League for a third consecutive time, so to preserve their chances of European competition in the second match against 'Rennes', which took place in Krakow, they needed to earn points. The task for Mircea Lucescu's team was complicated by the fact that goalkeepers Bushchan and Boyko are in the infirmary, so 20-year-old Neschyret came out from the first minute.

At the beginning of the match, players from 'Rennes' tested Ruslan with two shots on target. On the 15th minute, Burijio's dangerous shot landed near the post. Dynamo responded with a great long-range shot by Harmash that Mandanda had to save. On the 30th minute, Meling created a goal-scoring opportunity for himself, moving into the center and shooting straight at the goalkeeper. Towards the end of the first half, teams fought more on the field, but no dangerous moments occurred.

At the beginning of the second half, 'Rennes' scored - Vu closed Burijio's corner kick from the corner. After that, Dynamo tried to play back but only remembered themselves with an inaccurate shot by Karavaev in added time. In summary, the blue-and-whites lost their fourth consecutive game in the UEFA Europa League, so they now preserve their chances of continuing the fight only in the Conference League.

In Dynamo's lineup for the match were players who were called up to the national team for the last training camp: Timchik (yellow card, substituted on 77th minute), Zabarnyi, Sydorchuk, Tsygankov, Karavaev (substituted on 77th minute).
