In Estonian Tallinn continues the tournament in Group A of the Euro-2023 for Ukraine's women's national team WU-17. The next opponent for the blue-and-yellow team is Denmark.
We remind you that due to Russia's full-scale aggression and martial law in Ukraine, our team could not participate in the second round of qualification for Euro-2022 and formally took the last, fourth place in their group. However, UEFA's Executive Committee, due to Russia's disqualification, made a decision to keep Ukraine's women's national team in the elite division. Thus, they remained in Group A.
In the first match of the group, coach Sergei Sapronov's players lost to England (0:11). Now, Ukraine's women's national team has lost to their Danish counterparts — 1:4. The next game for the blue-and-yellow will be on October 13 against the hosts — Estonia.

Match start time — Kyiv time.
In Group A, 28 teams will compete (including seven that moved up from Group B based on the results of the second round of the season-2021/2022, which concluded in spring). They were divided into seven groups. Teams within a group play at one venue in mini-tournaments format. Teams finishing fourth will continue their season in the second round of Group B.
The seeding for the second round will depend on the positions teams take in their respective groups during the first round. Estonia will also participate in the competition, despite having a direct entry to the final stage as hosts.
Teams from Group B (including those that dropped down from Group A after the second round of season-2021/2022) compete for promotion to Group A across six groups. Winners of each group and runners-up with the best record against first and third-placed teams in their respective groups will move up to a higher division.
