General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces: operational information regarding the Russian invasion (as of 06:00 27.09.2022)

To your attention — operational information from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as of 06.00 on September 27, 2022 regarding the Russian invasion of our country.

Glory to Ukraine! The two hundred sixteenth day of heroic resistance against Russia's military aggression has begun.

The enemy continues to concentrate efforts on fully occupying Donetsk Oblast and holding onto seized territories, as well as halting active operations by the Armed Forces at certain points. Shelling of our positions along the line of contact is ongoing; in some areas, occupiers attempt to recapture lost positions and conduct aerial reconnaissance. The adversary strikes civilian infrastructure and residential areas, violating international humanitarian law, laws, and customs of war.

There remains a threat of air and missile strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine. Thus, over the past day, the enemy carried out nine missile and 22 aerial attacks, conducted more than 90 shelling operations with multiple rocket launchers. Over the last day, the adversary used attack drones in the vicinity of Bilenky village in Odesa Oblast.

Over fifty populated areas were affected by fire strikes. Among them are Sloviansk, Kramatorsk, Siversk, Avdiivka, Novopavlivka, Zaporizhzhia, Mariupol, Mykolayiv, Pervomaisk, Bilenky.

On the Volynian, Polissian and Northern Directions, the situation remains unchanged.

At other directions, enemy shelling with tanks, mortars, and artillery continues:

on the Slobozhansky direction — in the areas of Baranivka, Udi, Hatishe, Vovchansk, Dvoryche, Kucherivka, Petro-Pavlivka and Senkove;

on the Kramatorsky direction — Old Karavan, Ozerna, Severnyy, Spirene, Rozdolovka and Veselye;

on the Bakhmutsky direction — Siversk, Bakhmutskoye, Grygoriyivka, Bakhmut, Vesela Dolina, Zaytseve, Mayorshchyna and Yuryivka;

on the Avdiyivsky direction — Avdiivka, Vodyane, Opytnoye, Krasnogorivka, Marinka and Novomykhailivka;

on the Novopavlivsky direction — Zolotaya Niva, Ugledar, Pavlivka and Yegoryevka;

on the Zaporizhzhian direction — Novopavlivka, Novosilka and Vremyivka.

On the South Buzky Direction , over 25 populated areas suffered from artillery and mortar shelling near the line of contact. Among them are Chernaya Dolina, Shirokoye, Andriyivka, Belogirka, Ternevo Podi, Limany and Miren.

The situation at the Zaporizhzhia NPP remains tense. The staff of the station does not wish to cooperate with the enemy and attempts to leave temporarily occupied territories by occupiers. The occupied part of Kherson Oblast is completely closed for entry and exit.

Successful strikes against enemy personnel and equipment have been confirmed over recent days. Thus, in Kherson seven Ural trucks were destroyed and rendered unserviceable; in Melitopol up to ten units of military hardware and more than 20 occupiers were killed. In the areas around Tokmak and Chernigivka in Zaporizhzhia Oblast, a S-300 complex was destroyed along with five units of military equipment and over fifty occupiers were injured.

During the day, subunits of the Armed Forces repelled enemy attacks near Solodar, Kurdyumivka, Zaytseve, Mayorshchyna, Bakhmut, Kamiansk, Pervomaiske.

Air Force units carried out 28 strikes. Confirmed hits on over twenty areas of enemy forces and military equipment concentration as well as seven positions of anti-aircraft missile systems. Enemy losses are being verified.

Rocket Forces and Artillery hit five command posts, twelve areas of enemy force and equipment concentration, two positions of anti-aircraft missile systems, three ammunition depots, and over ten separate important targets.
