The leader conducted his first guest match — "Niva" from Buzova. The trip to Novohrad-Volynskyi was not an easy stroll for the team of Sergiy Karpenko.
Another newcomer to professional competitions, "Zvyahel," put up a stubborn resistance but ultimately had to surrender. 0:1. The decisive goal came from "Niva's" attacker Ivan Somov, who scored from close range. This is already Somov’s fifth goal, and he currently leads the scorers, while his team is in first place in the league table.
True enough, behind Somov breathes the versatile "Chaika" Oleksiy Litovchenko, who scored a brace against "Rubicon," making a significant contribution to his club's victory. Now he trails Somov by just one goal. And Stepan Klimenko proved the point with a decisive finish in the final minutes — 3:0.
In the clash of neighbors in the league table, "Real-Farm" and "Metallurga-2," as they say, six points were at stake. At the end of the first half, Odessa's Vadim Granchar managed to break his team’s 222-minute goalless streak — 1:0. When after halftime Vladyslav Timoshevsky doubled the score, there was little doubt that "Real-Farm" would secure its first win (2:1).
The reserves of another top-division team, "Kremen," also suffered a defeat. Hosts' goalkeeper Volodymyr Tsytkin guessed correctly with his substitution — Mihail Plyashko scored the opening goal for Zakarpattia from his first touch. This goal proved decisive and allowed the Carpathians to solidify their position among the leaders. 0:1.
Today's fourth round concluded with a match between "Vast" and Vinnytsia "Niva." In the middle of the second half, Podolian Mikhita Zhukov opened the scoring. Shortly after, Oleksiy Shveyts and Artur Zagorulko forced the home goalkeeper to concede two more goals. All attempts by Mykolaiv's team to score a goal for pride proved fruitless. The pupils of Oleg Ostapenko celebrate their first victory — 3:0 and remain in the relegation zone.
