The second round in the second league was dominated by home teams. In Husi, brothers Lutsiv played a spectacular match against Zaporizhzhia "Metalurh" reserves. Petro scored a brace and made the most significant contribution to the hosts' big victory. His brother Vasyl also didn't leave the field without scoring — the Carpathian team's squad includes several players with experience in elite and first division, and they easily outclassed their guests — 4:0.

Now Petro Lutsiv has three goals to his name and leads the league's top scorer race alongside Ivan Somov from Buzhak "Niva". It was Somov who secured victory for his team against "Real Farm" with a decisive strike — 2:0. By the way, Odessa natives were coached in this match by new head coach Yuri Kulish, who previously led Kherson's "Kristal".

The match between "Chayka" and Vinnytsia "Niva" ended rather unexpectedly. Denis Homutov's team was persistent from the start and already on the 9th minute were leading — 2:0 thanks to goals by Denis Ndoukwu and Oleksandr Gusykov. Podolyany could not recover, and when their net bulged for a third time early in the second half, they threw in the towel.

Today's final match of the second round was between FC "Vast" and "Zviazel". With victory, Mykolaiv team would have led the table by tiebreakers. But it ended with a draw, and players from Buzhak "Niva", thanks to their rivals' losses, took over the leadership.
